SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/22/2011 10:10:15 PM)

And how does that correlate to how old I look?

NocturnalStalker -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/22/2011 10:11:27 PM)

I'm trying this "nice" thing out, okay?  It's not easy for me.  Give me a break.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/22/2011 10:15:30 PM)

Just be you.  No cocky attitude, no false humility...just you...as discomfiting as a modicum of vulnerability may be.

I vastly prefer reality to illusion.

NocturnalStalker -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/22/2011 10:18:03 PM)

I save that for CMail, personally.  On here I like to live upto a gimmick.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/22/2011 10:21:28 PM)

My CMail is unfiltered and always open.

Sadly, I have to go to bed and attempt to sleep despite being wide awake.

Was that a "subtle" invitation, Ms. Leanan?

Nice. No one is going to mistake you for anything other than 100% certified yummy man in any case Cuffkinks. *sorry Hejira [;)] it just came out!

hair alone does not make puberty, it's much more physical than that.  ... i just think that some people need to think a little more about the implications of what they say, and especially who too.

If you look at the pussy diagrams we had linked to the "floppy meat flaps" thread, many of them could be any age without hair.  Only the ones with protruding inner labia or outer labia that do not meet together look positively like an adult.

Not that it was directed at me, but I don't see any implications in saying, "that naked pussy looks like a kid and it squicks me out" or "that naked penis looks like a prepubescent boy, and it squicks me out."  Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Cali

Thanks Cali, that's what I was trying to say. :)

needlesandpins -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/23/2011 9:15:52 AM)

well my point exactly, HAIR is not the be all and end all of puberty. you are looking at an adult and not a child. you have the person right in front of you, not a non discript image. and for the love of god please stop missing the point of what i'm saying. telling someone you don't like what they do with themself...THEIR CHOICE...because YOU think they look prepubesent is wrong. have your preference yes, but don't insult someone else's choice and then say they are not letting you have your preference. the second part of my point is that it is hugely wrong for someone to say that anyone who wants to have sex with someone who is smooth is only doing so because they are going to be thinking you are a child. it's a very bigotted view to have and the implications of that are that the person having sex with a smooth person is being told they are a paedofile because of it. noone has the right to do that.

so to drive my point home of just how bad it is i'll tell you something. as a young girl i was abused by a family 'friend', when i was very prepubesent. i now choose to be mostly smooth, but imagine how it feels to me for someone to say that i look like a little girl and anyone wanting sex with me does so because they want to really have sex with a child. if feels damn awful actually and it's hugely insensitive to spout an opinion that someone looks prepubesent based purely on their bits being smooth when you have no idea what it may actually mean to some people. have your opinion yes, and your preference, but sometimes those sorts of opinions are best kept to yourself.

I am sorry to inform you but your words are not helping you make your point.

Obviously it is a hot button for you but it isn't for many others.

I personally, do not see any difference in saying an adult with zero pubic hair looks creepily childlike to me.........versus my saying a chubby hairless man looks a lot like a chubby hairless baby. If the comparison squicks you out........that is your shit to deal with. I, nor do I suspect anyone else here, is going to be changed by your scolding. I simply recognize your issues as personal ones caused by childhood trauma that obviously is not 100% dealt with.

And those words are from a grown, adult woman, that was treated improperly by a creepy family member, prior to her having body hair. Shit happens, you either deal and move on or continue to allow it to bother you. However, if you continue to allow it to bother you, do not expect other people to share your shit and pander to it.

So, if people saying that hairless adults look creepily childlike bothers you, own your own issues, ignore their words and move on. Because your preaching isn't going to change their opinions and there is no viable reason it should.

Yeah. This is so needlessly dramatic I don't even have a starting point. Good luck with your issues. If you want people to keep their opinions to themselves, a kink forum on the internet might not be the place for you, just a thought.

or people could be considerate of sexually sensitive issues where offence/distress maybe caused?

not being dramatic at all. just mearly trying to make a point about something i don't like. i'm actually amazed that something can't be challanged so that it maybe can avoided in future.

what the hell. crack on.

Wow...how did we get from naked mole rats to this?

Being "aware of sexually sensitive issues" is a really broad umbrella to sit under. We have the Forum Guidelines to follow...isn't that enough for an adult site populated by....adults?

Avoid all talk that could offend would leave us with what? Everyone is bound to be offended by something.

This is an issue for you, needles, but you aren't the only one who has dealt with childhood "happenings"... you made it clear you didn't like the reference smooth or hairless looking prepubescent. Point made...taken...time to move along.

I wasn't offended by NS's statement that people who like hairy folks are into beastiality. As one of the hair-loving folks, I found it funny and not too serious.

Just my $0.02...fwiw.

needlesandpins -> RE: Let's Talk About "Manscaping." (3/23/2011 11:21:02 AM)

i'd sat that 99% of things are perfectly fine to give as a view point. whatever happens between concenting adults is all cool by me. animals......well i can't comment on that. however, a comparison of children in sexual relation to adults then yes i think it needs consideration. my point was actually being very over looked. what i have said further has come from the comment of someone not seeing where the implication lays. so i have tried to explain, with no avail. i gave an example of my friend's mum and what she had said and the way that virtually accuses people who have no such thoughts. point missed.

so i then try to use an example of a situation to show how someone maybe affected by a comparison someone is making. point missed.

so what the hell.

ETA compairing someone to a naked mole rat is different from comparing them to a child when it's the whole adult in front of you. the naked mole rat comment was rather funny.

Are you suggesting that they should completely refrain from the remark because it makes you uncomfortable when the same may not hold true for others? Granted, if this were a one on one conversation that might actually occur. However, in the context of where this issue is being discussed it seems pretty implausible to expect that. Let alone admonish and demand.

Namaste,

what i was saying is that i think it's not right to compair an adult to a child when taking of things sexually. also saying that hair alone does not set an adult from a child.

the rest came about when i was talking about my friends mum as i extended that point and implications of what some people say and how they say it.

opinions are fine and voicing them is fine, but compairing adults to children when it's comes to things sexual is not right. that is my opinion, and if everyone else can state their's whether it affects someone else or not, then so can i. just because others maybe haven't said things before doesn't mean they haven't wanted to. maybe they are more resigned to the fact that some just hate their opinion being questioned in anyway that is not in agreement. me i'm open to discuss it.
