ORIGINAL: Phoenixpower For my cats I use sometimes rescue remedy, so when they are limping after a fight outside or whatever the reason was that caused them limping, I cover their limping area in it and it helps them a lot not to limp anymore. However I never imagined that it can cause that much difference and am really greatful to have seen how much it can do. Also when I worked as a live-in carer one of my clients had a wound on her back which kept getting wet (it kept build regularly a white sticky cover on itself) and there a friend brought her a leaf from an aloa vera plant which she then instructed me to rub it onto that area of her back. That then stopped that wound to build up that white sticky stuff and it finally started to heal. Its just lovely to see what mother nature has available for us yup, i use aloe straight from the plant or in gells. one of its best usages is for burns. i scolded my hand one christmas with boiling water straight from the kettle and used aloe-vera from the plant. i kept applying it everytime the sap dried up. instead of the blisters i should have got i just had sore skin that came right in a couple of days. arnica is great for bruising and bangs and such. needles One person posted me (regarding burns) this email, but I would not dare to try it out (at least not if it is really autsch) Once I was cooking some corn and stuck my fork in the boiling water to see if the corn was ready. I missed and my hand went into the boiling water.... A friend of mine, who was a Vietnam vet, came into the house, just as I was screaming, and asked me if I had some plain old flour...I pulled out a bag and he stuck my hand in it. He said to keep my hand in the flour for 10 mins. which I did. He said that in Vietnam , this guy was on fire and in their panic, they threw a bag of flour all over him to put the fire out...well, it not only put the flour out, but he never even had a blister.! ! SOOOO, long story short, I put my hand in the bag of flour for 10 mins, pulled it out and had not even a red mark or a blister and absolutley NO PAIN. Now, I keep a bag of flour in the fridge and every time I burn myself, I use the flour and never ONCE have I ever had a red spot, a burn or a blister.! *cold flour feels even better than room temperature flour. Miracle, if you ask me. Keep a bag of white flour in your fridge and you will be happy you did. I even burnt my tongue and put the flour on it for about 10 mins. and the pain was gone and no burn. Try it! BTW, don't run your burn area under cold water first, just put it right into the flour for 10 mins and experience a miracle. But yes I was really amazed how quick spicy stopped limping...Maybe we should post Holly a year supply So yes, once my life is more stable again than it is right now I will spend a bit more time about that...it is fascinating. I also still remember how I dismissed a colleague back home who was heavily into it...but what it did to this elderly woman and to my friend was just amazing. The aromatherapist (we are still in touch) explained to me that some of these aromas also help to lift the spirit from the person who is affected from a stroke or another disabling condition which then itself is a good starting point to let the heal process get started. So since then I know for sure that if I would know someone who is affected from it and am able to give that advice I will advice aromatherapy....I am very glad about that this woman got her independence back again. I think she remained living there as she just isn't as fit anymore as she used to be before that operation, but now at least she can carry out her personal care by herself again and eat by herself again etc.... On one occassion I attended an emergency supervision as I was furious big time about a colleague and remember how I swallowed three bottles of rescue remedy just to try to keep as calm as possible after what had happened....gosh I slept like a baby that night
