Tradition is very important to me, my grandfather shot Nazis and who am I to buck tradition.  You want to dress up as an authoritarian asshole who loves to torture, kidnap, conquer, and kill, dress up like a Republican.

Still laughing here!!

LadyHugs -> RE: nazi uniform (5/7/2006 9:06:40 PM)

Dear gestapololita, Ladies and Gentlemen;

The "Nazi" fad comes and goes, like regular "neck tie fashions."  Wait long enough it will return, that is why my father kept his neckties.

That said, there are many types of uniforms of the WWII vintage, some original and some reproductions.  As the "Greatest Generation," are dying and or have died (as in the case with my father), some have kept the "spoils" of war and some have kept their uniforms, as in the case with my father, there was no civilian clothes available period, as it all went to the war effort, so the "ruptured duck" symbol was sewn onto the uniform, as to identify have served but, no longer in service.  My father was buried in his uniform of WWII, with military honors.  However, some have outgrown theirs and hang in closets.

I wore a WWI authentic uniform, belonging to a great uncle, who served in the Army, to include his ribbons and clusters.  But, I have since passed the body to wear it proper now.

In general though, uniforms do create a better presentation on a man than regular civilian clothes.

That said, why not consider creating an original uniform?  Here lately, it seems to be popular wearing high shank English riding boots, black breeches and black uniform shirt, then a  Sam Brown belt and a "cover."

Leather duster can add to the uniform appearance as well.

An individual that attended MAL in DC, in January is a huge uniform fetish fan... He advised me, that he has got good deals on E-bay.
(He would change into a different uniform about every 4 hours)--Wonderful man.

I would also look into formal uniforms, as well as standard/daily uniforms.  Each military had everyday, semi-dressed and "Class A" and or Regimental.  I would look up the “Battalion Inspection Score Sheet.”  as to make it "uniform proper"

As a side note though, the Nazi salute had origins as far back as Rome, and the USA used the Bellamy Salute; the same salute adopted by Hitler and  Mussolini, so--when the Bellamy salute was used by Nazis, the US Congress banned the Bellamy Salute and adopted the salutes we know today, hand over the heart.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

mons -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 1:28:59 AM)

greetings to all

I find that dressing as a nazi distasteful for me that is
my opinion. But your name is even like it. It is a taboo
for me to even think of seeing someone with it on. i think
if you truly watch any one of the documarty and saw the
horror of the faces of childern and those who have lived
through this you may think twice about wearing this. take care

i wishes you the best

mons/jane

naughtynick -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 1:38:30 AM)

A polish sub would love this fantasy lol.

meatcleaver -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 1:57:12 AM)

I think the amount of people who abhor SS uniforms for play just goes to show how UNtwisted BDSM really is. It seems to me that BDSM have a surfeit of people who at heart have very conservative morals.

gestapololita -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 3:14:47 AM)

i wont deny its a twisted fantasy, and totaly understand why people think its out of order, (which is why i asked the question in the first place)
but it is only a fantasy, but the ever popular school girl/teacher is accceptable... if my fantasy is so wrong, why is it accepetable to act out molesting a child!?
fanasies arnt about accepetabilty. some times, in the real world, they are down wright offensive.
however, thanks every for your imput on this, its been honest, intresting and funny...
and has gave me plenty to think about

For those who thought I would comment here...haha, I'm not touching this one after the last time.

feastie -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 3:41:35 AM)

Makes no difference to me, I'm not interested in the whole role play thing.

lol benji, just don't turn your back on them....

meatcleaver -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 4:12:58 AM)

I don't think it is at all twisted, it is a fantasy, nothing else. One of the wonderful things about the imagination is that one can visit heaven and hell and still go to work in the morning with ones integrity intact.

Arpig -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 5:02:03 AM)

Doesn't do anything for me really, I actually think they look rather silly, but I never was a fan of those jodphur style pants.
Hey if playing dressup gets you going, then go to it and enjoy. And to all those who pbject because it is a nazi uniform....lighten up, its just the girls kink, not her politics.

JohnWarren -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 5:28:27 AM)

I'll just note that far from supporting the Nazis, wearing such outfits is a way of reducing their significance.  I have a feeling that the old Third Reichers are spinning in their graves to see their beloved symbols reduced to masterbative fodder.

damn CD, coffee spewed all over the place! You rascal--

I for one as well do not associate scenes like that with anything real--living or dead---I much prefer the illusion of the concept rather than any thing actual---it to Me is like dressing up like a Muslim and playing bomb terrorist/hostage----nope can't do it.

RavenMuse -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 5:48:46 AM)

Have to agree with John on this, satire, humour and treating the symbols of something that was so destructive in a 'throw away' dismissive and unimportant manner is a good way to lessen their power and impact, remove much of their potential for influencing the young and impressionable. Treat it just as another piece of cloth for long enough and that is all it becomes, just another bundle at the back of the fancy dress shop.

The alternative. React strongly to it, fear it and you empower it, draw those who want nothing more than to rebel into it where they can be infulenced by the warped minds of people like the BNP (Here in the UK) and other racist morons..... why make their job any easier?

Not my scene, but if all they are doing is playing dress up, I see little harm in it and like I explain above, even some potential benifit.

Since John Warren always seems to know everything, it's putting icing on the cake to say this, but AHHH, this is a great point.

And in agreeing with you, I feel more in line with Mel Brooks (Springtime for Hitler), always my moral shining star!

Kane -> RE: nazi uniform (5/8/2006 5:54:43 AM)

I really don't mind fantasy when you look at how twisted reality is.

and if its as common a fetish as i think it is or if its just the folk i know..

It's more common than most think.

After I got into the scene, this was the first type of scene that I actually had a visceral emotional "NO WAY!" reaction towards.

So of course I had to spend days rolling it over into my mind and working out why people did it, where it came from, why I had the reaction that I did, and what to do about it.

As per usual, I realized it was "just another kink."  The possible fear play, the symbolism behind the roles, my own reaction itself all showed me exactly how and why someone would translate it into a great scene.  Since then I've seen other examples of this type of play and it helps to reaffirm to me that, no matter what you choose to do, someone out there is going to tell you that your kink is wrong.

But if it's right for you, and ultimately doesn't get twisted into something unhealthy, then go for it.
