The question is in the title.  Considering that i have looked at quite a few profiles in the last few days i wonder is there a good place/scene to find a young (20's) f sub, maybe with a little experience in the chicagoland area?  Or how does on fashion a current girlfriend into your sub?

Go to the bottom of the FAQs thread and click on the link provided for munches/groups/events in your area. Find one, or more, and go to it. That's where people are.

If you want to stay online, read this... For men: how to find a woman here and take the time to present yourself better as far as your profile goes.

You're new to this...your best bet is to get to a munch and discover your local bdsm community. Good luck.

Ive never found it difficult to meet ppl. Playing sports, sailing. church, thru my kids etc . One of the problems with the younger set is they think the only way to do things is online. I dont know how many times I with a group of ppl and the younger ones have their nose buried in the phone. Instead of joining a real time discussion. Ive banned cell phone use in my house and my gf home during "family time" dinner, conversation, movie watching and the ilk.

click off all devices and meet some folks.

To simplify things and plug into local events i'd recommend that you join Fetlife and use "Chicago" as your search term. Click on groups and you'll find quite a few that are dedicated to hosting events and connecting local people with one another. You'll also see various notices on the event page for your respective area. They always contain a mixture of single and partnered persons. Also, there is a munch group that meets out in your direction. It would alleviate the trek to the city unless you're not opposed to the commute. Best of luck.

Finding your local munches, groups, and events should be first on your list.  You have been given a way to find them.  You might want to work on your profile.  In the first paragraph you say you are not sure this lifestyle will be your "thing" or not.  In the second you say if you find the right female submssive it will be for long term.  This gives the impression that you may or may not find this type of thing good for you.  If the "may not" wins then what will you do with the submissive who wants it if you find you do not? 

Before actually getting a submissive perhaps you should do more reading.  Buy some good books on the subject.  Go to munch and find out how real people do all this for real.  Talk to experienced people.  Then if it has your interest it will be time to look for that submissive.

I found six here on CM locally, about one per year average which may not seem like much but I've had a relationship with tammystarm for over two years now. I suspect your posting here had the side affect of attracting "serious" submissives; did it?

FL Will have lots of groups for you to look into as well (I believe someone else has mentioned them), they are a good resource. Meet girls at events. Go to classes at different clubs, learn things. Read books. Talk to people. I'm thinking, once you get out there you won't have a problem at all finding someone. You're pretty damn hot and you seem eager to learn and you're not afraid to admit that you're new. Which is good. Best of luck to you.

Try finding a compatable human female. She may be submissive, but not to you. We dont just fall to our knees to any prat who gives themselves a title, well unless we've fallen off the chair laughing.
