Congrats on your collar. I had physically made a collar for my sub out of chainmaille. It took me something like 14 hours of work to make. i then presented it to her, in a private situation and laid it into her hands. the symbolism of it, she knew full well. i left it to her choice to place it around her own neck, that way i coul dtell if she did desire it fully. i am happy to say that she did place it upon her neck.

I would say that I place collars too. The old threads of girls that have had collars removed for punishment would tell why. I want it to be a symbol of the bond from me to them that is very very clear in it's meaning.

I have to agree. Instead of myself putting the collar on I would always let master do it as it is respectful

Gloriousangel,

Congratulations to you and your Master And Mistress.

I had my subs collar made out of silver and asked her to be my sub and placed the collar on her neck, that was 8 years ago.

The nicest collaring I seen was a fire ceremony. Probably one reason I think that is I was chosen to undress the sub :)
Actually, it was a very nice ceremony regardless.
