I thought Chuck Taylors were basketball shoes. Or did I not get it when the teen tried to explain it to me?

Not to be confused with Chuck Jones...[;)]

Well being old school is not the same as old guard thank fucking god.  We see the bigger picture then just play.

It is more a 7 day a week thing then just the weekends.  It is based on Honor, Respect and Pride.  It is a way of life that holds higher standards then today's new agers can imagine.  I am not sure why so many here are so happy to flaunt their lack of knowledge of this lifestyle.

um..I have 2 pairs of chuck high tops.. does this mean I need to reclassify myself as a femdom?
Apparently, I'm the one missing the dominant shoes.
*Awaits pictures of the domly shoes, I'm apparently missing.

Prefer 10" Wesco lineman's boots to either Carolina's or Timberland's, and I'm much more a sub/bottom than a dom(me)/top. Guess it's just what I'm used to from years and years of good, daily use.

SexyBossyBBW -> RE: any old schoolers in the house? (4/2/2011 2:06:14 PM)

Yeah, but is it old school? [:D] You know, like Chuck Taylor Hi Tops.

I've never been much into sneakers, though it's probably a better idea, than the sadistic/sexy heels.

*considers buying my own Chuck Taylor hi tops*
I wonder if foot fetishists would go for this. They always have pictures of the women in size 8 feet in 5+ inch heels. I've never made it a hard limit, but definitely don't love it. [:D] M

Is this like a 'hey you kids, get off my lawn!' moment? If you have the magic key to understanding what indeed is meant by being Old School then why didn't you take the opportunity to enlighten those who don't know -past the few generalities that you listed and the sneering comment? Seems pretty counter productive to me when people say oh you wouldn't understand, and then proceed to explain nothing.

Right.  None of the rest of us could possibly have any honor, respect, pride, or knowledge.  Since you've determined that we're so ignorant, how about answering the OP's actual question.

What a load of arrogant crap. Gosh, you'd think that things like "honor" were invented sometime in the 50's. i'm glad for you that you have found something which works for you but I, for one, can pass on the condescending attitude.

Slobbering over my CT's would definitely piss me off. But a pair of boots? Well, now we're talking. But even without them, a pedicured foot looks so much better when properly adorned. [;)]

Muttling -> RE: any old schoolers in the house? (4/2/2011 4:06:52 PM)

You walked 3 hours to school, each way?   hmmm.....   Out at 3PM and I assume it started at 8AM sharp.    5AM till 6PM....13 hours a day, 5 days a week.  Most impressive.    Did you carry 2 or 3 meals with your school books?  I presume you did a few hours homework as well.

Missokyst -> RE: any old schoolers in the house? (4/2/2011 4:08:51 PM)

She forgot to mention walking uphill both ways.
I would have mentioned it sooner but what she wrote got me too horny to type

BurntKitty -> RE: any old schoolers in the house? (4/2/2011 4:10:58 PM)

I graduated in 1976. Walked in the snow uphill both ways. Yup. Even studied Watergate as current events.

And yes... get off my lawn.... (Oiling the wheels on mah walker, now.)
