this is what messed me up... i had no proper guidance, my parents split and were way too involved with their own new love affairs to bring up their kids, my puberty was a mine field, and i was a total slut
i had strange encounters with a family member and even a parent of a friend ... when a girl starts growing boobs... especially when they don't seem to stop growing, her life can become extremely weird

and indeed it is sad that one would get fat to avoid the attention, getting skilled enough to deal with it another way and so be able to enjoy a compliment (most of the attention is indeed just that) is much nicer.

And of course, we all felt weird when construction workers yelled at us, but you do get over it, or one would hope so, as an adult.

And if you gain weight to get over it, that is indeed sad.

I was a smart kid and came from a home where anything could be discussed. I also had childhood onset depression at a time before SSRIs. So this was more than I could handle back then.

As far as weight gain now, it's a medical issue. My thyroid has gone south and a high enough dose of the thyroid meds causes my anxiety disorder to kick in. I'm twitchy all the time. And if it's a choice between being fat and having anxiety attacks, I'll pick fat.

I had a full blown, chewin a xanax and pacing the floors panic attack this morning. It has been so long, I had forgotten how much they suck.

I wonder if it came from all the thinking I have been doing about my health and such.

I am doing all I can in my mind to make sure it doesn't happen again. I was really a fucking wreck from them for about a year, barely leaving my house, and I can not afford that now that I am my only breadwinner.

I really think I have some serious chemical imbalances. That or I am really crazy as hell and just don't realize it. I am calling my dr Monday and telling her I think I need a new drug, this one has quit working after 3 years.

Fat and crazy.....i just can not figure out why I am alone-lol.
