I dont come into a thread and call someone a bigot, just because they have dared to tar all repubs/dems /spaghetti monsters with the same brush. as far as I know you may call a rightie a bigot, but Ive yet to see you disagree with blanket terms like libtard. Or Dims or other "All lefties are......fill in your favourite insult" then you are no where to be found. Have you noticed that apart from you, only two people I consider the right of the aisle have made comments, and it isnt because they are upset about being branded righties or feel hated. Sighs, what would make you happy Rich, for Obama to pronounce that the US is leaving NATO? thats the only way out of any NATO involvement and you can bet your bottom dollar the military machine would never allow that. Of course I know, Ive been aware of NATO and the UN since a very early age. OF course its going to be very closely watched and be in wait and see mode. Thats what being part of an alliance means... So while it may be behind curtains, it always has been, and wont change unless NATO Is disbanded and I dont see anyone except protectionists wanting that to happen. So you propose taking over from the rebels or leaving them to die in ignorance or give them the tools to be able to be secure on their own,? By the way... Ghadflyys men have painted themselves yellow too.

Didn't Gates, your Secretary for Defence, announce just that - the US was standing down from the Libyan situation - last week? Isn't that consistent with the stated goal of foreign intervention ie. "prevention of genocide" and "saving civilian lives". There are a few other sectors where similar actions by the US would receive widespread acclaim. Are you in favour of US withdrawal from Iraq and/or Afghanistan too?

Now I did take a moment to go look at the thread you mention on gas prices. The op was about OB, not a surprise since sanity started it. The next post was a crack on OB from popeye and the next three started the usual bs. I missed the posts that you suggested made the right posters look as bad as the rights, so maybe you could point them out.
