Status: offline 		Naturally I watched Yankees Red Sox this afternoon,but I taped the Masters....went out ,got home around 9.Figured I would watch a little of it...but I have my own round to play tomorrow,I can't stay up too late.
Well first  the three kids,McILroy(the current leader at -10),Day -8 and Fowler at -5 what a trip around Augusta.These three 20 somethings played ,collectively at something like 20 under for the day.
Behind them Tiger who started the day at -1 from yesterday....plays a lackluster first 8 holes...actually dropping a stroke to even for the tournament...than he catches fire as only Tiger can.....Finishes the next 10 holes with 9 birdies to drop down to -7 under for the Tournament a 6 under round of 66...after being 1 over after 8...phenomenal stuff. Watch out youngun's there is a cat stalking your tails
Tiger will be hunting a Green Jacket this weekend....and while I am spraying balls hither and yon,tween trees and in traps....my dvr will be taping every stroke.

Because he couldn't close the deal when he needed to.

i'd be curious to see if they'll discuss the ratings pop after the charge. If he wins you'll see more people tuning in again. Though die hard fans never left, but if you've seen him play in person you know there's nothing like it. He's beyond good.

Status: offline 		I havent been able to watch a minute of it.. but I am glad Tiger is getting his game back on track.  To be honest, though.. I wouldnt mind seeing one of the 'kids' get a green jacket.. Tigers been in the spotlight.

i use this as one of my weeding tools. If he abhors the game it's likely he won't support my time on the greens or those other "necessities" that players require.

Status: offline 		An up and down day for Tiger ,after shooting a 2 over par 74 he will need a few fellows to fall back to him to have any shot.It is not in his hands anymore.Were he to shoot a 5 under 67 tomorrow...the leaders would still need to play a few strokes over par for Tiger to be in contention.Hell McILroy could win tomorrow simply shooting par...he can play safe,unless some one other than Tiger pushes him.Day seems capable of doing so.
McILroy winning would be a hell of a story,23 y/o and his first major.Day catching him and grabbing the Green jacket would be an even bigger story,Greg Norman was a big hero of this 21 y/o Aussie.....he would love to the first from down under to win the Masters.

*ears perking* Don't tease me.

As for the game... i saw the Masters as a warm up for Tiger, not a win.

No shock about Michelson. He'd only be in contention if he can stay in the fairway. His course management has always been about taking chances. He likes going for the big shot and that can be very costly at Augusta.
