It adds gravitas to the broadcast....it wouldn't do to have the announcer yelling into his mike,whether the gofer could hear him or not...we the viewing audience,made up in large part of actual golfers,feel yelling is unseemly around the course

You are right about the Brew Crew. Starting out 0-4 was not real fun. They went on to take 3 of 4 from the Braves and 2 of 3 from the Cubbies. Back to 500..
