Between two people in a relationship as a bit of role-play, I suppose it could be fun...but posted here in that sort of "fishing way" that suggests WANK and FAKE and YUK just perpetuates the clueless male stereotype and puts another negative checkmark next to the submissive who is other gendered in most people's minds.  I am glad that folk have had fun with it, but personally I wish it had never been posted at all.

That was taken totally out of context. What I enjoyed were people's playful responses, not the actual thread topic itself.

That wasn't clear?

As I mentioned in another post on this thread, I think the whole male having a period thing is part of the female supremacy equation, and most of us don't buy into that.

In any case,  you are right, it's hard for many of use to take this topic seriously. A male faking periods is fantasy. It's play, and was giving a playful response. I can, however, see how and why you were offended. My apologies.

I agree with you Parfait.... and Otter, my apologies if you were offended if I contributed to this thread being even more distasteful than how it started....I was just having a little fun too.

Periods for me were horrific.  Not only did I suffer the pain and severe bleeding from endometriosis, but as a guy who is transgendered, menstrual days were an absolute nightmare--a reminder of a reality that I could not escape. Let's face it--other than having a baby, menstral cycles and being female were synonymous.  It was just one more way that my body "betrayed" me.  

When I went to co-ed support groups, I would hear transgendered women struggling with how much they wish they could experience a period, how painful it was for them to NOT have this experience.  They would describe how much they loathed shaving the hair on their face while I would stare longingly into the mirror wishing it would magically grow.

I did not get the distinct impression that the OP wanted to simulate a period to help feel more female.  It struck me as simply one more way of humiliating a sub. And yet one more example of how little the OP truly understands what some women goes through each month.

Ah, well and you mistook my intent Miss CP. I should have been more clear that it was a general response to the topic and that your line was simply the impetus for my posting. I was not mad at you or anyone here, I was simply lamenting the thread topic and what it represented.  It was inevitable that people came into the topic and danced and that is part of the purpose of these forums.  Not my intent to be Baron Von Slay the Fun, and no need for apologies.  We have all seen this sort of topic before.

I think it is fairly obvious I find both stances bullcrap. The idea that one gender is superior to another is as distasteful to me as the idea that one ethnicity is superior to another. But, pls feel free to grab text out of context so you can incite controversy. I like controversy.

One of the reasons I found the posts so amusing was I once suffered horrible periods, but I am now post menopause. That's ovvvaaahhhh.

Amazingly enough, I dont find either pov bullcrap, as you put it. Within the confines of the relationship/dynamic, supremacy can very well thrive, and nicely so.

I used to believe female supremacy was nonsense. But I have had to rethink that position. While I may not agree, that doesnt mean someone else wont agree, making the statement valid for that person. Calling anything in the lifestyle "bullcrap" is an extrenely judgemental position to take.

And that was the point of my post.

I've never said I was not judgmental, in fact I admit to being.

I am a strong female with strong opinions and a healthy ethic for me.

I don't force that ethic on anyone else, but I am happy to announce what it is in a forum that allows me to. This is what we are all doing here.

In my opinion, gender supremacy of any kind is bullcrap, in your opinion, its not. UH....what am I missing here?
