Hello all,

I will not say that this happens to every body but men do seem to experience a dramatic drop in blood pressure post orgasm. Consequently, loss of erection, sleepyness or loss of immediate/short term interest should not be too surprizing.

i think a loss of interest is pretty normal for most males. The spectrum is so vast to those who must stop completely to those who can continue in the role after orgasm. Everyones reaction is, of course, unique

For how long? Most people need a break. If it's till the next day I doubt it would be a problem. If it's for six months, it will be one.

I disagree that what the OP describes is normal... Unless he is in a play only, than go home relationship.
There is nothing more disturbing to me, than to date men who are extremely ambivalent about being submissive as men. I always wonder, what we do in private, remains private, so what is the problem?! This is the reason why a lot of male subs practice orgasm denial (or are told to by their Dom/mes). I have had many male submissives write to me and explain that once they orgasm, they have no urge to be submissive and/or find it humiliating to continue. I have even heard of this being used as a punishment for male submissives - i.e. being forced to swallow their own cum when they no longer have any urge to submit or be humiliated having just sated themselves sexually. I guess you can either accept that your submissive side will ebb and flow with your levels of arousal, or for longer periods of uninterrupted submission you could abstain from orgasming.

If a guy cums after vanilla sex does it mean he's no longer interested in sex? No, it just means he needs a break before he's ready to go again.

Ideally, a sub shouldn't be allowed to cum until his Domme has no more use for him for a while. Then it doesn't matter if he temporarily loses interest.

And after you get off you are not going to feel sexual any more.

Thus you don't feel like you did before. I'd say every guy experiences this whether sub or dom or whatever.

If you didn't get horny you'd have no interest in sex and the fetishes that go with it.

The only unique piece of the subs dilemma is that they probably were into doing some pretty naughty stuff. Then whoops, it doesn't seem interesting.

You have to have the mental discipline to know what you like when you're not about to get off.

It's extremely normal, you have three types of hormones that cause this and are going to put you into a refractory period where you will lose interest until something stimulates you again. It is easier to come out of this the younger you are.
