I've got a bunch of different harnesses, and I found that the 4 point harnesses are my favorite when I'm getting into the sex, but a 3 point harness is my favorite if it is a "scene" with a male sub - where I'm not looking to get sexual satisfaction out of it. I find the 3 point harness more stable, and I can control it better for anal penetration.

I have a feeldoe, and so far have only used it on my ex-boy, but it was awkward and I didn't like the sexual stimulation I got from it because when I'm working with male subs I am not involved sexually (in my head and body). One type of strapon dildo i haven't seen mentioned here is the flex-o-matic. (No, it doesn't slice and dice.) It fits into any type of harness.
