I've flown into there a few times.  If you've not been there before, you'll jump on that station since it doesn't look like anything's closer.  We'd all gas up about 5 miles away.

It's simply more convenient to zoom in right at the airport.

Picking that station for a peak price comparo is nuts.  What was their gas price back in 2008?

taz didnt prove anything, the highest prices she found were lower than the highest prices I found. You dont like the sources, find your own or stfu. It's by a fricken' airport.  That's standard business in the US, just check out the cost for gas at the entry of DFW, or on the San Francisco peninsula near SFO.

The argument was that when gas got to 5 dollars a gallon, armageddon would begin. Point is, its already been at 5 dollars, and more, a gallon, and people responded not with violence but with common sense. Cutting back consumption is the only answer, the only answer to rising prices the companies will listen too.

LOL.. actually Hippie, its showing how consumer reduction of consumption brought down those prices quickly. The market did react to consumer demands... as soon as those demands hit the companies pockets.

So, anyway, the Merkin peoples won't do anything except cut back consumption a tiny bit and bitch.
