I grew up by the ocean. Lived in MB for 9 years, adored every moment of living in vacation land. Took my son to Disney World every other year. Worked in Knotts Berry Farm and Disney Land and lived in Orange County.
Growing up in the military gave me the traveling bug.... but because we were military, I learned how to go where I wanted, and how to do so cheaply.
Did you know Disney World has a military only hotel on property. Its called "The Shades of Green".

A wonderful place to stay... and cheaper than the resort hotels. I encourage anyone who wants a nice vacation and are military, active, reserve, National Guard, retired... even unremarried widows and their children are eligible.

Is it cheap? Nope, but its cheaper.
Many other resorts and vacation spots are offering gas cards, some as high as 40 dollars... enough for a tank. Its not much of an offering, but if someone shops smartly, they can get good deals.
You seem to believe I am jealous of the "jet setters" the "rich" and the "entitled".

Im far from resentful towards anyone who has such possessions, Sanity. They earned their money, they spent it as they wished. What I do resnt is the bitching that comes from that group because they cannot afford the decisions they made in the past.
