Dom harrassment!!!

Dom harrassment!!! - 5/9/2006 5:45:17 PM

Status: offline 		I don't know how many other dommes have had this problem.  But just this evening a dom messaged me.  He didnt like the fact that I wouldn't submit to him so he told me to stop messaging him.  Not a problem but i told him  that he was the one who contacted me so he could just block me and move on.  He continued to message me harrassing me.  I want to report him but there is no category for this type of situation.  Ideas? Advice?  Hell anything to keep me from tossing my puter out the window.

Status: offline 		You'll note on the bottom right hand corner of your post there is a Report button. All you have to do is copy and paste.
Honestly it wouldn't be the first time that a dom was 1) just being a jerk 2) got the wrong person 3) someone with a name similar to yours messaged him and now it's "your fault"

Status: offline 		this was in my email....when you hit the report button it gives you these little categories that don't fit this situation.  I'm hoping one of the moderators read this and get back to me.

Why did you waste energy with the "you messaged me first" thing?
 
Just ignore him and move on. No biggie.

Apparently a lot of women get messages on here from sad losers like him, I would just block him, though I would make a point of telling him that he is a pathetic waste of skin first.

another.  Follow the advice on how to report him and make
sure you block him. 
 
Then do something to take your mind off the situation,
go to your favorite cafe', get something to drink and eat,
bring a book or a magazine, and relax.

Hide his profile from your view and use the block/delete method of cybering. If he makes a new name to harrass you again, you win .. just continue with block/delete until he's fully baked and goes away. He will, eventually, get tired of being treated as an ignored child and find another playground for his tantrums.

Status: offline 		Blocking does little to no good. Most of these guys are predators and trolls. I have blocked peopel that have harassed me since I got on tih site years ago, and all the losers do is delete their profiles and start them up again, it does NOT good to block them.

My advice, if these loser contacts you very clearly tell him "DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN." Write down every time he emails or sends a chat request after that, do NOT return his emails, just delete them unopened. You can report any online harassment to the cyber division of your local poice department.

From my personal experince, the best way to combat these losers is to NOT respond to them at all. Just write down the handle they use, the date and time of EACH email or chat request, then turn them over to the authorites, its a federal offence to harass someone online.

Writing the moderators or reeporting them has doen very little in my expereince. I have used the 'report' function a few times when I was threatened or sent a LOT of SPAM, the moderators have doen a great job with those, but as for people just being a**holes, not much they can or will do it seems.

Status: offline 		When I think how much junk mail I get on a daily basis in my real life mail box.  And it costs something to print that and send it out.  Or by phone?  Now, you have a free inbox.  Costs nothing to send something to it.

What do you expect?????????  Do like you do with charities:  let 'em BURN!

Just ignore them, or have a cheap laugh, but don't let it get to you.  I know I have better things to do.

Block works equally well on your side of the monitor too.

I assume most of these people really need no harm and just have an odd idea about what D/s is. Probably sending these e-mails give them a nice little erection and they go off and fantasize about these women they send e-mails to, bowing down and submitting to them because they treated them like dirt...and women always fall for guys who do that. ^_~

Status: offline 		Every time I've ever written to a moderator about a harassing e-mailer, they've taken care of it.  I don't bother them unless it's a serious case (someone who makes threats, recreates a profile in order to e-mail again after being blocked, and so on).

And, yes, I get a lot of hateful e-mail.
