LOL...I'm no newbie and I still get such notes every day!  I don't recommend responding.  I do on occasion and it just opens doors to more notes in return!  Today I got this one fired back at me:

Subject line:  "Sit Stay!  --  ...Your attitude definitely needs adjustment! Some other man will eventually see to that ...     If you need the last word please respond, otherwise, just be thankful you are not suspended in my swing or strapped down in the sauna or on the weight bench...you should surely deserve and receive TEN of the best for your impertinence!"

hahahahahahahah   Yup, a 'real dom' alright!  <rolls eyes>  I should know better!  ...and yes, he got the last word, alright

The problem with hitting the ignore button is you then prevent yourself from being able to deride, insult, or shredding the person's idiotic and peurile maunderings in the future.

What fun is that?

Sinergy

Could be wrong, but there you go.

Exactly!!!

I believe the ignore and block functions are toggles. You can flip their states at will, which means you can flame away and then block/ignore... and do this at your leisure.

If you operated that way...
Is it possible you gave the HNG the attention he/she (ya never know) seeks?
Is it possible you and the HNG have much in common?
Is it possible you have too much time on your hands?

Sometimes playing with the switch is more fun than the results achieved (light on / light off, sniper shot / sniper hit)...

Was the title of this thread correct ''Odd message from a Dom'', no typos... and not ''Message from an Odd Dom''?

there is no reason for anyone to be telling you this. Block them or try to have a laugh reading the pathetic attempt to be THE "Great and Omnipotent Grand Poo Bah Master, Dom almighty Supreme Ruler"

If YOU have not negotiated it is NOT a done deal.

Hang in there and I hope you find what you seek.

I think I would write back and ask for permission to block him.

Dammit man where is my can of "fool be gone"!  Seems like I wasn't the only one ran into a online dom bully. Que sera.  But they are right. Deleting and ignoring is best.  If the same ass continues with a different profile report him.  That's the advice I got in my thread earlier.

Translated:  Hello, my name is Trevor, and I live with my mother and my pet hamster, Cyril.  The only girlfriend I've ever had required a puncture repair kit. If I call myself  a Dom it means I can - just maybe - get a real live female to resond to me.

*lol
those messages are rather usual, as are the ones who want you to relocate to them asap - if possible as their slave without a safe word
or even better who tell you that you are a fake cause you didn't answer their mail fast enough, that you went offline just before the message arrived is of no consequence, a true sub would have waited for the uber master
or something like that...
I actually write not so nice mails back, and rip their idioticy to shreds ...

you know...i've been getting more and more of these "you need a spanking" "you're not a real domme" type mails from doms and i say "you're not man enough to handle me" or "let me see your domination certification"....i've noticed they kinda fall off or get really pissed and block me for insulting thier manhood.

Hee. I love the words in capital letters. They simply ring with virile authority, don't they?

The idiot is following no established protocol that I've been able to observe. If you find him disrespectful-- and I would-- then you can either block him or flame him, at your option. The former is probably the smoother course in the long run, but the latter might be more fun.

There are plenty of nice people out there. Don't worry too much about this one.

Again, within the vast transom of the kinkosphere you will find email all over the map. Such pontifications I call them are way too presumptuous. There is always to be a feeling out period where through getting to know each other, a dominant man lays some groundwork. It is upon that ground that then and only then should one be subjected to such and really by that time, if successful, a sub should then be looking for directions and should request them. That leaves only the problem then of coming off as too vanilla, and that is the death knell here, don't we know.
