You should see some of the messages I have received from "submissives". A few of them are real riots. Maybe a test should be required before some of these people are allowed to call themselves Dom/mes or subs. I tend to take things online with a gain (pound?) of salt. LOL

Mari:  to add my 2 cents..

Unfortunately there are those few who will post such idiotic messages to anyone in the hopes that maybe out of the thousand they send, ONE will respond in a manner that they wish... trouble is, I see them as those dogs who chase cars all the time... they can't drive, so what will they do when they catch one?

I'm on both sites as well as others, and I personally have found this to be the most user-friendly and friendly-user of all, at least for my area.  I've made a great deal of friends from this site (yes, in person), and learned a lot.  Don't let one a$$hole here spoil the whole bunch - same ratios apply in real life, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

"You claim to be a sub, you FOLLOW directions, you do not set conditions!
You may REQUEST certain types of behavior in your profile but any Dom worth his title will completely ignore that condition, hence I am writing back.
If you are looking for a dating service, try something else. Here, you follow directions. If you want an explicit example, you have my permission to write back"

Just curious, how many people feel that "Here" you have to follow this sort of crap?  Is it some rule that I missed somehow?

Mari.

Hi Mari,
You just have to learn to sort out the diamonds from the coal, LOL!! It gets frustrating, without a doubt. Just delete that junk and block the big dummy, and move on. Not worth your blood pressure going up getting annoyed at people who don't read your profile, or have their own agenda.  There are the nice, the not so nice, and the truly weird out on the Internet. How did you find your experience on Alt.com to be? I met with quite a few people from there last summer, and for the most part, lost interest. Way too much lying, from how old they really were, to how old their photos were, just everything! One guy said he didn't smoke, them proceeded to smoke both cigarettes AND cigars at the table. I said "Hey, I thought you said you didn't smoke", he replied, "Oh, did I write that?".  Met a couple of fun guys on AFF, but they turned out to be Vanilla's looking for spice. They were not guys who were born with the spanking gene, like I am. It was interesting, but I moved on. I need the real thing!

I have found the best Doms, to be on ALT.COM

Categorically untrue. I don’t have an account there.

I havent even read any of the replies on this one yet but I have got to say something about it.  Just one more shining example of an asshole with an ego trip!

Best response to a declaration like that is a hearty laugh, followed by, "You MUST be joking!"

Mari,

The guy has no idea what D/s is even about.  My sub gets messages like that when she gets online and she tells them she is only sub to me, not to them.

More than likely, the guy probably didn't even have a profile let alone a clue.

hello

You do not ever have to listen to anyone who just becasue
they say they are a dom you must listen. I understand many years
ago I thought i was submissive, i have a nut who made me see i was not,
so delete him and do not think of him at all ever.
