ORIGINAL: NeedToUseYou Hopefully, He's in. Prediction:Ron Paul will do much better this time, Romney will be the nominee, though the point here is to spread the message, and to set up Rand ultimately. Romney, having no values at all, will lose automatically to Obama, seeing he's no better than Obama in terms of the economy, and worse in the case of war. Obama continues to screw up for 4 more years. Ron Paul's other son (forget his name, not Rand), runs and is elected. Now, you have 3 Paul's at the National Level. Spreading the Paul name, and acclimatizing people to the idea. Ron Paul Retires... Rand Paul, who is much better dealing with the neocons at fox, and the liberals at MSNBC, runs in 2016, and wins the primary and presidency. By then Obama will have driven this country so far into the ground, people will be over this socialist fad. Cut,Cut, Cut.... Of course Social Security, and Medicare, etc... will have to be wound down over about 30 years, but the military budget is slashed first year.... Federal Employees forced to get real jobs, etc. etc... I get to respect a president for the first time in my life, and not feel ill when hearing him speak. Needtouseyou, one thing I think this country really needs is "change" and we're just not getting it with Oblunder. Look at HIS healthcare plan, it's a disaster! Two weeks ago they said that there were 900 something orgs that were "exempt" from it! I can't think of one thing Obama has done that I like. Gitmo still open, military spending still crazy, debt piling up, his thumb up his ass still. We are approaching debt levels versus GDP comparable to WWII, and almost nothing of substance is being done about it. This time is much worse though, as after WWII we had a huge economic advantage as a consequence of where the war happened that lasted a couple of decades. So, here we are with a do nothing president with a debt load that should be causing drastic cuts, and probably short term tax increases. But no one is doing anything of consequence. We need a trillion in cuts yesterday for the year. We need to balance the rest using taxes if necessary or efficiencies or selling off federal property/land. Whatever is necessary. Anyway, Obama is a failure, but I fear the politics will trump any solution until we reach 20 trillion in debt or more as everyone clings to there unrealistic welfare benefits (corporate, individual, national, military contractors, etc), then there will be no choice, and the slashing will really hurt. I don't care much, I'm already in the mindset that the "kooks" in charge are going to run this fantasy of an economy as is until they hit the wall, and I am and have been taking actions to weather that inevitability at least better than most will. So, I say whatever, really, I don't want what I think is going to happen to happen, but each year that passes it seems all the more inevitable. I don't think McCain would have been any better though.
