On the subject of Presidents and hair, I was wondering why we haven't elected any Presidents with any facial hair since (I think) William Howard Taft. He had a mustache, although I think the last bearded President might have been Garfield. Not sure offhand.

One of the greatest Presidents in American history had a beard, and yet nowadays, facial hair seems to be taboo in politics. I have no idea why.

Some Presidents of the past probably wouldn't have gotten elected by today's standards. I recall reading that Thomas Jefferson had a stutter. Could a stuttering politician win elections today?

I would like the next President to be an American and to stand up for America. I don't give a rats ass about the rest of the world loving us. Hasn't the present doofus sucked enough cock? Hell, they still hate us, but now they laugh at us for being so stupid and weak. I argue that is exactly what he wants. And what most of you want, too.

Skilled trolls are much more subtle.

Sideshow Donald aside, one of the more interesting potential candidates on the R side is also hairline challenged. We'll see how it goes.

I assume you're referring to Mitch Daniels, and not Giuliani?

Pubic hair is taboo too.

I understand all presidential candidates are now required to undergo mandatory inspections before their names are placed on the ballot.

Yes, though I would be happy to see Rudy get into the hunt. Daniels should be announcing one way or another shortly. A short bald guy. Maybe he should ride onstage on his Harley?

Short, balding and a full beard here. Obviously NOT presidential material.

I saw one of the Waynan brothers I think it was say on tv that the Donald needed to submit a certificate of realness of his hair.

This is gonna sound really bad, but i think it depends on whether he (or she?) could have hair if he (or she?) wanted to. Some people just look really hot bald. A few names come to mind. Natalie Portman, Tom Colicchio, Michael Jordan, Sinead O'Conner, Shaquille O'neal, Sigourney Weaver. Let's not forget Mr. Clean. And our friend Max's Boy pulls it off splendidly as well.

Tell me this look could not win the presidency:

Couldn't be fake.  If a billionaire was to buy hair, it wouldn't look like that.

His hair may be real but I think perhaps he could stand in front of a camera while the world watches on as a garden hose, hose down his head and see what that shit looks like wet!

It just struck me that Ike was the last bald president we had.  Prior to that... hell, who knows?

John Adams and John Quincy Adams, Martin van Buren, James Garfield and Dwight D. Eisenhower.
