DarkSteven -> Does a President need hair? (5/1/2011 6:25:08 AM)

It just struck me that Ike was the last bald president we had.  Prior to that... hell, who knows?

The list of failed bald candidates, though... McCain, Humphrey, McGovern, Stevenson....

Do you think that being bald is a serious handicap for a candidate?  Maybe that's why Trump uses a comb-over?

Actually, yes. i think it's probably a disadvantage.

I don't think it's a comb over. I think it's a small mammal.

Wasn't Eisenhower president before t.v. became really popular? i think that's probably the reason he was the last bald president.

Yes.  TV first had a major impact for the Nixon-JFK debates.  People who listened on the radio thought Nixon won the debate, but people who saw it on TV thought that JFK won.  It pitted one of the most telegenic Presidents with one of the least.  And JFK directly followed Eisenhower as President.

I dont like Trump.   Has nothing to do with his hair.  I think he is a player.

Being bald is a handicap for any guy. Just like being fat/obese would be a handicap, or being short would be.

Trump has a comb over cuz he's too cheap to pay for hair plugs. Now I bet if some company would give him hair plugs for free, he'd jump at it.

Lucylastic -> RE: Does a President need hair? (5/1/2011 7:21:01 AM)

As I find sexy guys to  come in bald, hairy  fat, skinny tall, short blonde brunette, black, white and yellow, types, I think its crap, but then I dont vote based on looks.

It's a sad fact, Steve, that usually, we just elect the taller one. Personally, I hope our current experience will encourage people to look a bit beyond the style and vote for substance this time around.

Sideshow Donald aside, one of the more interesting potential candidates on the R side is also hairline challenged. We'll see how it goes.

It was Tricky Dicky's sweating that did him in.

You mean like being 90 years old is a handicap for a female?

Well, at least you're not bald, but you are short..........and very old.

No Richie, I follow your teachings religiously.

So I guess I am only as misinformed as you.

I would like the next President to be an American and to stand up for America. I don't give a rats ass about the rest of the world loving us. Hasn't the present doofus sucked enough cock? Hell, they still hate us, but now they laugh at us for being so stupid and weak. I argue that is exactly what he wants. And what most of you want, too.
