I expect it wouldn't go well. They are seriously trained military personnel and could likely kill me with their bare hands in a variety of ways without my even seeing it coming.

But we know that mite doesn't equate with right, don't we. That is why we have pesky things like rules and laws. So the party with the biggest biceps, or biggest gun, doesn't simply dictate as he/she capriciously wants.

BTW  A very classy Response by Mr Bush,  (while I usually have little regard for the man, this is spot on and I applaud and agree with him)

While I have no problems with them sending him off to sea..I am having trouble believing that in under 24hrs they spout a 99.9% dna match. I've gone to a few sites now online for time needed for dna testing..even the simplest marker matching with full staff pushing out the results can't seem to happen in less than 72hrs. How did they get that dead Osama blood sample out of there so quick to a viable lab facility capable of even doing such an elaborate testing?

Anyone have a better source giving dna testing results possible in less than 24hrs time?

There are many tests that can be done involving dna..again from several internet sites *because that is currently my only avenue to even look this stuff up* state that the simplest marker dna match takes 72hrs and thats pushing it.

This depends on the tests performed. The more accurate tests take longer. This will fuel those who want to believe he is still alive, unfortunately...

There is so much news coming at such a fast rate: I heard about an hour ago, 11A EST, on CNN that the DNA results were " just confirmed ". Meaning today. I heard earier that ID was done by facial imagining of some sort, and I know I have the name wrong.

This site and quite a few others say DNA test result can be obtained in 24 hours. It is in reference to paternity testing, which I * think * would be similar to what they did on Bin Laden. They already had his sisters DNA on file. She died some years ago of a brain tumor and they got her DNA.

All speculation on my part : Since they can get DNA results in 24 hours and already had the sisters DNA, perhaps the reports we heard last night were of " preliminary DNA results"

Lets face it..finding Osama in in a dank cave somewhere already dead from his own illnesses several weeks ago would not harbor the same jubilation and the desired effect of Americans coming together "as in achievement" that Obama expressed in his message.
