Status: offline 		Teeth grinding,minds spinning...FDD and Sanity are completely flummoxed ,what are they to do.It is undoubtedly a great and long overdue occasion....and yet it was accomplished while the wrong man occupied the Oval Office.
With this to add to his resume...the entirety of the President's agenda is enhanced....and the desperation on the right is multiplied.Should they even hold a Republican convention in 2012...perhaps it is only right and fitting that they attempt the empty gesture of nominating a woman for the office(someone needs to contact Bachmann or Palin and determine their willingness to lose in'12)....who will willingly step forward and be this cycle's McCain ?

Status: offline 		Somehow I don't think chest thumping is in the repertoire of this particular President.....quiet and reserved pride in a job well done seems much more fitting to his character.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for his fake landing on an American aircraft carrier

FatDomDaddy, read your link. You can say it was after he was broken, but the fact is "He (Muhammed) acknowledged knowing him (the courier) many months later under standard interrogation" Many intelligence people have said that standard interrogation produces the best results.

There`s also plenty of examples where torture got us wrong or inaccurate intel.You cons don`t wanna talk about that tho,lol.

Couldn`t,wouldn`t that same info be gotten from detainees, where ever they`re held?

The story I heard on NPR was that a code name of a trusted Currier was given over by a detainee.

I don`t see how "gitmo" made any difference.

I knew this thread would try and vindicate bush.lol Most of you will be dead from old age before that happens.Your egos,honor,good sense and credibility were some of bush`s final casualties.
