I need a M/s relationship to be happy and content with life.

I want the pain simply because i enjoy it.

Its more of a desire like others have said, I desire 'hurt so good pain.'

I catagorize need as something you have to have to survive, such as air, water, food, shelter. Pain is something that falls into the want catagory as well as desire, it is also how that pain is inflicted. It is a bonding experience, not to mention one that can be freeing. In pain I let all my base emotions come to the surface, there is nothing left to hide behind and that can be an extremly vunerable position to be in, not something I do with just anyone. I would rather go without than expereince it at a substandard level with someone I didn't care about. I'm privlaged that I bottom to a Sadist who knows how to use pain to bring out the best and worst in me.

I want to be tied up and flogged.

I want to be paddled.

I want the blades edge over my skin.

But that is all they are is wants.

I need to feel his power over me.

I need to feel his strength.

I need to feel like I am at his mercy.

I need to be taken to the edge.

However, for me personally I do not want "play" to be the only time I feel those things. I need them in every aspect of our relationship.
