Status: offline 		There is a debate going on about releasing the photos of Osama Bin Laden's body before burial at sea, what do you think?

Should they or shouldn't they?

Why give his followers any ammo to fuel revenge against his "martyrdom"?

ETA: Unless they decide to withhold them 'til, say........... October of 2012?

Status: offline 		RML, strangely enough, and I am no graphics guru, I used to make all kinds of large photo shop images of OBL with target circles on them (until the boss caught me using the large printer to print them off.)

You are right, people will claim they are faked, cgi or photoshopped.

Personally, I believe they should have kept the body, shipped it to the states and had various ambassadors and independent doctors confirm it was him, THEN bury they bastard in a toxic waste dump or in a radioactive coffin.

Aside from the tinfoil hat crowd, I'm pretty sure we have enough confirmation.

Shipping his body to the states would only have further inflamed the Muslim world which is already making an issue of his burial at sea.

Religion is such a wonderful thing.  We can't offend anyone's superstitions even when we are dealing with a terrorist and mass murderer.
