Bush isnt' getting as much credit largely due to shit like this, backing off at Tora Bora, etc., the Bush administrations dedication to bringing Osama to justice was never much more than lukewarm at best, in fact most of the time it seemed they were at pains to avoid capturing him. Osama was a big cash cow for the neo-cons, how else they gonna justify billing the taxpayers for all those armaments? The whole "War on terror", which pretty much everybody else agrees is largely a law enforcement issue, has been very lucrative for the Texas mafia and that whole gang. The distinction here is the difference between gathering intelligence and acting on it - and when it comes that, the Bush and Bin Laden families are very well acquainted, business partners in fact - why didn't he just ask them where Osama was?
