I know. It's disappointing and it'd irritate the pants off me in your position.

Hon, if someone's determined to see you as a sexist, a man-hater, a whatever . . . there's almost feck all you can do about it. People have prejudices, and prejudices about what they see as other people's prejudices, they hold onto them with grim tenacity forever, and that's just that.

I assume these comments are a reference to my last post. if that is the case then I suggest both of you read what I said again because I said not in any way accuse her of being sexist etc. In fact I first said it was a good thread before and got a few angry responses for no good reason, and then acknowledged why she worded the OP thread the way it was so it was a misunderstanding - a thing Vaguely did not acknowledge BTW.

Consider the source. The less than aware person seems to have some really HUGE issues when it comes to being a man and having a major dislike for anyone with tits, a vagina and a functioning brain. Especially when said brain creates thoughts that do not agree with his twisted view of the world at large.

I doubt he falls anywhere near the category of men whose company we enjoy, then men we respect and admire, or in having any sort of sense of humour about himself and the male population at large.

Jesus, man, not everything's about you. Your sense-of-humour misstep doesn't really compare to the serious misogynist in the room. I also think you read anger into what was actually vague irritation, but never mind. As for not 'acknowledging' you, I wasn't aware that I owed you a reply. This is the internet; if you need acknowledgement from the people on it you're doing it wrong.

ETA: LaT, I think you're right. My menfolk of choice are pretty awesome. Awareness? Not so much.

I like men....because they aren't women. I like what makes men, men.

I like maleness........I know what it's like to be a female but I don't know what it's like to be a male.

I might be easily fascinated....but stubble on the face, having to shave, hairiness, big feet and hands, the different make-up of muscle definition, prominent adams apples, deep voices, penis, balls..........

Yes, I like men very much indeed and my herb garden is filled with LOTS of them. I'm rarely ever bored.....lol

Ooooh, oooh, ooh, stubble on the face! That was gonna be in my original post!

That was one of the biggest surprises for me when I was discovering men: stubble burn=hotness. Who knew? (Well, the straight women and gay men who like that sort of thing, obviously, but you know what I mean.)

No, they weren't, Wants. I was making a more general remark about the way this thread got sullied by bad vibes in spite of the OP's good intentions.

Here we go again - more needless insults even after the issue was dropped last night. As I said before you are the one with issues. Why would one say they enjoy seeing others get attacked and railroaded on this forum? You openly professed enjoyment of said activity. For the rest of what you say - thats complete bullshit. I enjoy the company of women whether intelligent or not. I dislike you and quite frankly judging by your posts on here it doesn't seem as if you have much of said quality. If I'm wrong I do apologise.

For fucks sake I never said everything was about me and neither can it be inferred. Peon appeared to be responding to my message and you to his. It wasn't a sense of humour mis-step. It was yours as you interpreted a jokey post badly and wrote a relatively insulting response. For someone who claims to want to keep the thread light and good humoured you have a strange way of showing it. I made a point about acknowledging what I said because you had posted numerous ill humoured responses to me and appeared to be continuing that trend. I don't need any acknowledgement but if someone accepts an error on theirt part at least have the generosity not to continue on the old thread of insult.

Thats fair enough. Just seemed like it was but apologies for any misunderstanding.

You know, I've got used to women having norks and vadges instead of willies but I still, even now, occasionally look at a woman's chin and for a split second think, 'How did she get such a close shave?'. Weird.

I do try to get out more these days, before you ask.

As I sit here in my office, surrounded by men..........I have to say I really prefer the company of men versus women. One is moaning about eating too much steak and rolls yesterday and his dress pants being too tight around the waist. Another is complaining of sore muscles due to pulling weeds yesterday..........and the third is delightfully quiet about his constant life drama of a mental case wife. There is zero tension or emotional undercurrent bullshit.

As opposed to the other company downstairs...... Two lesbians that do everything in their power to surround themselves with only women. Constant tension and undercurrents. A lot of head games down there. A lot of emotional bullshit.

Yes, I much prefer the company of men.

I can see that. I've spent a lot of time in the company of large groups of men, and things are just...easier, somehow. Even if I occasionally get carried across the room against my will...

Soooooo, are you saying you are a sock puppet of the less than aware one?

Or are you too dense to understand what I wrote and who I was referring to?

I am sure you do not care that I do not care, whether you like me or not. My pool is quite deep enough, I don't need an overly sensitive putz polluting it.

Oh fuck me. I suck at the quote thingies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you realize that your post reaks of misogyny, just as much as any man? I have had plenty of difficulty with women with that attitude making my climb harder.

There is NOTHING wrong with being a woman.

That wasn't clear in the post. Some of the remarks sounded quite similar to last night.

Where exactly can it be said that I thought everything was about moi? I just thought a single itty bitty post was.

Cool and maybe your buzz won't be harshened as much either if you don't fly off the handle at what was a jokey post!

I'm the same way......It's not really a choice thing at all, it's just how it's transpired.

I don't *get* men ....but I don't feel I have to or need to.
I don't *get* women, but I feel I ought to or possibly should.

On balance, it's always been far simpler and more beneficial in tons of ways, for me to be surrounded by men/boys/maleness of any stage and age...lol

I'm all for an easy life.

It cant be me you are referring to. Im not sensitive at all and you dont hurt me. I think you know me better than that.
But that is not an intelligent response that makes a case for your negative attitude.

But perhaps I was wrong as I dont think you take much time trying to get to know the emotional workings of anyone, let alone woman. Of course men are easier when you dont want to connect.
