Actually, Lilith appears in the Epic of Gilgamesh.  Since the Epic is the oldest written record, Lilith was first.

True enough.  Though are you sure it is the oldest written record? 

You must admit though that "sidhe" and "vampire" are at the core, two completely different beings.  Similar?  Yes.  One in the same?  Not quite.

PS: Don't you know guys know you're supposed to keep up this cute flirting thread 24/7? No taking Sunday rests!! Those of us with insomina need something to read and smile at when we drag our weary bones out of bed and log on. :)

I guess I could always go read the the 40 or 50 pages I missed (I only spot-check), but I'm saving that up for a very bad case of the nosleepems.

Fae and I had a lovely evening watching movies with Spyder and the kids.  We watched The Last Unicorn and Labyrinth.  Fae brought massive amounts of noms.  Seriously, these brownies are enormous.  I've been snacking all day.

Speaking of Edward Cullen and Lestat, do you happen to know why there are no ugly vampires? That's always puzzled me. Maybe they keep them hidden in back-office desk jobs.

Is Labryinth the one that has David Bowie singing that silly baby song? I loved that scene. :D

And I much prefer that movie over Pan's Labryinth (shudder).

i've never seen The Last Unicorn, but Labyrinth is fun.

We have oatmeal cookies over here, and sweet potato chips, and... yeah, today's just been a snack and scavenge kind of day, food-wise.
