A hearing is that. The subject of the hearing is what the hearing is about. There were never hearings about McCain's status. There was a single question asked in an utterly unrelated hearing.

I never changed what I was asking for and you never met the burden of proof. No hearings were ever held on McCain's status. A single question was asked during a hearing on another matter. That does not and never will equate to hearings on McCain's status.
