I may be out of line but what about filing papers at your local small claims court and then going to judgejudy.com - she would wipe the floor with him.  The ol' poop.

A true Dom is NOT an abuser.  This man is a creep who is an abuser. He manipulated you when you were vulnerable and he should (in my humble opinion) be hung by his genitalia.  I just figured good ol'  Judge Judy was close to that :D

Take care! If I was closer to Michigan I'd beat the crap out of him for you.

ohhhh almost forgot - you may want to check with the local postal inspection service if ANYTHING went over the mail. He could be charged with fraud in federal court.

Of course, I haven't had many opportunities to watch Judge Judy, but from the couple of times I've seen her show, I think she'd also be pretty strong on telling the "victimized party" to start looking and stop jumping until there's -clearly- water in the pool.

She's always seemed more than a bit direct to me -- in ways that are clearly necessary, considering the couple of defendent/plaintiff pairs I've seen her work -- but she's certainly not sensitive to bruising toes. I'd not want to dance with her unless I -knew- I'd taken lessons and could waltz to a tune that I'd chosen with adequate care. *smiles*

(For those who hate metaphors -- especially mixed metaphors -- I wouldn't go to her for comfort and support unless I knew I'd done everything right ... or I'd likely come out of there with my ears burning as bad as the plaintiff!)

First of all sorry for your traumatic ordeal.
Second, call the police to get your things back.
Third, call someone you can go and stay with, family or friends until you can get above water again.
And finally...you did nothing wrong...except to trust someone.

So what is wrong with me????

Poor judgement ??

There are 2 sides to every story ....where's his?

i am sorry but i cannot give you the same support others have.....
i will NOT ever move in with a guy i met just the "other day" in the course of eternity....
i also will NOT justify a destination before a journey.
i am only a few years older than you Deb and life's lessons are there to teach us who we are and who we want to be and what we must change about ourselves.
Absolving ones self of personal responsibility for the damage done in a "relationship" is not my idea of learning from a lesson....  been there, done that.

No hugs, words of "poor you, he's a prick" or encouragment from me ......

.... am waiting to hear his side now.  Only then can we, ths audience, make a "judgement" on the situation in which you say...wtf did i do wrong?  But what right do we have to judge any who ???

once again i am going to disagree... a victim mentality is just that...please victimisze me cause i am a victim...so its "allowed" by the victim....

done that ...been there ....
*looks deep within
THANK you SO much, Sheri (MA, LPC) for helping me see the good, the bad and the ugly of myself in this journey and being willing to do something about it ALL....

I think many people in their lives have realized they have made a very wrong decision...I mean so wrong you often think "what the heck was I thinking"!..then you take a deep breath ...and start to think with your head and not your heart..you weigh all options open to you, you make a list of all the things you need to do to get into a better situation and then you act!..yes you have lost a lot..and yes you probably will never get back to that...but you need to focus on just getting into a better situation than the one you are in at this moment...be well...Tempting..its now time to be strong...

LadiesBladewing, Your right of course.  The most wisest of us always says when we quit learning were dead.  I will take this lesson and learn from it.  I am so thankful for all the advice too,  he's block me on IM and email so I will have to escorted out by police and friend with truck.  I can thank god I have my own place and this was furniture just being stored by him in enclosed motorcycle trailer.  I will pay attention to "red flags" and in this case I chose to ignor them.  Hate to even say to myself, but in this case I got exactly what I deserved by not paying attention to first instincts.   Yours truly, Deb
