Status: offline 		If you're gonna make a (fairly significant) change to the forums/boards how about doing a complete job? You've got chaos in the making right now. You added "Games" to the Humor forum but you miserably failed to MOVE ALL THE GAMES!! What you have now is people making duplicates of the existing games that reside in their original location. So how about cleaning up your mess? (keep the originals cuz people like to look back in them from time to time)

.....and for what it's worth....you should really put games in a separate forum all by themselves.

Status: offline 		Aside from the douchebagery manner in which the OP made his complaint I do have to second the fact that I regret that "humor" and "games" are together now.
I'd much rather have them be separate sections because I think that the humor part is being drowned out by the games, and I used to like going there and reading the jokes.

The games go so fast and there are so many that the jokes get put pages back before I've got much time to notice them.

Hey Dude....how about realizing all the Mods and Vas here are UNPAID VOLUNTEERS who do this stuff because they care.

You think running this lunatic assylum is easy? Yet day after day these faithful few are here on this site, patroling these boards so We, the kinky kiddos who play here, have a place to do so.

Status: offline 		That is why we moved it from the random forum. I will see if we can make another forum. However, we will not be able to move the large threads as it seriously hampers the forums trying to move thousands of posts at one time.



To MasterG2kTR, if you would like to tell me SPECIFIC titles which still have to be moved, I will personally take the time to move them. Is there anything else that I fucked up when I did this with good intentions for the users, in the middle of the night so as to cause the least disruption? Please do tell.......I'm all ears.

Well, apparently I offended someone with my 'douchebagery' comment as I received a cmail from someone who isn't permitted to post anymore on the threads and has had several profiles deleted by the Mods.  I tried to report his cmail, but I'll be damned apparently jackassery isn't a reason to report a cmail. Huh...Who knew!

Status: offline 		I agree with Ishtar and the OP in that having the games in the humor section is going to drown out the humor.  I think a games section would be beneficial.

You sure are a sweetheart for a ruthless evil omnipotent administrator type!!! Thanks for taking a crowbar and lube to that old PDG Software to improve the forums. 

I don't know if the members of Collarchat.com realize the other side (Collarme.com) pays the bills around here.  CollarChat is relatively worthless as a revenue source where CollarMe.com is in the top 5,000 web traffic . . . in the world.  We are literally here as a courtesy from the owner and we are managed by the volunteer mods. 

So a big thanks to all you guys for these fun forums.

Status: offline 		I hadn't really thought about Ishtar's point prior to her bringing it up, but I think she's on to something.  It's easy for jokes to get lost, even just in the span of overnight.  We all need a good laugh now and again.

I don't know what the board capacity is, but maybe we've got room to split the forum as the recent change makes it and let "Humor" stand alone?  I know, I know.  You just did all of that work to rearrange it all.  I'm sure some of us could attempt to be better behaved to ease the workload.

hijack here...
I know that you can't stop stupidity....and like passing a bad car wreck..I can't look away....  but the health & safety forum is making me twitch.  Can we put a huge banner or something that says: Do not dispense medical advice if you are not qualified to do so....or some disclaimer like, if you take medical advice given in this forum, you will likely be dead by morning because morons who can google think they are now healthcare professionals?  Not to mention that anyone who gets all of their medical advice from CollarMe is probably not too bright to begin with...

but, man....  I'm about to go ballistic right now in the health thread.  There's an OP who posted FROM the ED, with a life-threatening condition, and someone with NO background in health is on there telling her what meds to take, that she needs certain treatment and instead of comfort and support, is essentially posting the equivalent of "wow you're gonna die..."

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.

I think your heart is probably in the right place, but it's just not being expressed in a way that is helpful.

I'm sorry I got personal about it.  Anxiety and attitude can actually have an effect on patient outcomes.  Part of patient care is reassurance. Giving an anxious patient bad information....or negative information....is not helpful. It's counterproductive.
