I remember seeing pregnant Bristol and thinking "It is hard enough to be a teenage, unwed, pregnant mother without being marched around on your mother's stage this way". Like I said, it was not a very motherly thing to do, and I would not have put my own daughter through it.
True enough, but it's worth remembering that Barbie deliberately thrust her kids into the spotlight to endear herself to the type of reactionary imbecile who thinks that all women should be chained to the kitchen sink when they're not breeding more brats. After she'd stuck them into that position, her complaints about them being picked on were farcical. It's like some b list celebrity selling picture rights to their wedding to Hello! and then bitching that they have no privacy. If she's used her kids as an electioneering prop, then they become fair game.
