It is indeed very sad but and I shake my head at the thought of another life runied by ideology. But... absudly... after reading the article I can't help but wonder... what does a neo-nazi baby shower look like?

I keep getting this image in my head of a very pregnant woman opening a gift to reveal a tiny little SS uniform and holding it up so that all the other Aryran bimbos can ooh and ah over how cute it is.

Per the above article, the kid was booked for investigation of murder, and the authorities consider it intentional.

And yes, I feel for the kid.

Sad seems to not be a strong enough word for this.

..I have to wonder if there is an element of Frued in this.    The son kills the dad so as to win the mother.

I really hope so. I think it depends upon the mother and other influences that surround him. Considering the truth behind the old saying of 'water seeks it's own level', it might be a stretch.

That's a good thought and I hope you are right, but he has been living with hate for 10 years. That has to screw a kid up.

wow I am just happy that they established illegal immigration as a neo nazi issue.

Its interesting that you never see status croakers in the news, just agenda drummers

AND you never know who else played a part in what the kid did.

Not enough info to assess anything further.

I hadn’t heard that one before; had to look it up.

A bright side then, we don’t get to choose blood relatives.

I agree, along with how he deals with his original intent compared to what actually happened; as well as what happens to him because of his actions.

Thankfully, with some, the positive influence of just one person they meet along the way can change thier perspective. Also, as slim as it may be, there’s always the chance he is one who finds his way on his own.

It could happen! (let’s run with that thought; it may not help, but it can’t hurt)

Maybe it will turn out well for the kid. He should get counselling of course and maybe he will be placed with a normal family. I'm glad that the dad in no longer with us. People like him deserve to be killed.

The only people who ever truly know what goes on in a house, are the people who live in it. What I'd like to know though, is just how fucked up the ex-wife must have been, for this guy to win the custody fight.

Assuming she was fucked up is wrong, Rich. She may have been. She may have also been a victim of her husband. He won 28% of the votes for a local seat. Who is to say half those in his district... as well as a Judge or DA... believe as he did.

OK, maybe it wasn't right, but My first thought was the same one that Rich had.

I do hope they can get some help for the kid.  No matter what happened, he's going to have to deal with it the rest of his life.

I used to live just up the hill from Riverside, Tazzy. You can take my word for it, or not, but there are a lot more spun-out meth freaks than neo-nazis around there. Seriously, who are we to assume the crazy violence that erupted here must have been on the daddy's side of the DNA?

Knowing your feelings about guns made this all the more ironic!!

My first thought was how bad was Mom that Dad got the kids, too. But then I thought of a girlfriend of mine who lost custody to her scumbag ex-husband because she couldn't afford the better lawyer. If that's the case here, not only did the Mom lose her children in custody, maybe she's lost the battle for her son's character too.

One big screaming tragedy all around.
