All the health care issues aside, Romney seems more electable, than the rest.I am not so sure how they get balance with the tradional Republican and the Tea Party they seem to be so suspicious of one another. Look at the Tea Party folks trying to un-seat sitting Senators like Dick Luger in Indiana. I don't think they can, Luger has more respect by both major parties than all the TP folks together.
Makes you wonder if that is the case in a single state, what happens in the primaries?

If you want Michele Bachmann to run for president, show her — with a $50 check. The Minnesota congresswoman sent an email to supporters Friday, directing them to a single-question poll which asks if they're satisfied with the current GOP 2012 field — then demonstrate to her if they want her to run next year by donating $50 or $100.
"I've put together a quick one-question poll I'd like to ask you to take by following this link," the Minnesota congresswoman wrote in the email from her congressional campaign committee. "It asks if you are satisfied with the current field of Republican presidential candidates. Please take a moment right away to take the poll and let me know what you think." She added: "After taking the poll, I'm asking you to stand with me once more and to play a vital role in my next race as I consider my options of running for reelection to the House or seeking higher office. If you want me to continue fighting the Big-Government Obama agenda in the U.S. House of Representatives, please make a generous donation of $25. If you want me to seek the presidency, please make a donation of $50 or even $100 to let me know I can count on you. "I will be making this important decision very soon and need to hear from you right away!

The state of Wisconsin will be another headache for Obama. He needs Wisconsin to win and it went from blue to red last November. To make matters a little more difficult for the pres, 4 term senator Herb Kohl (liberal democrat) will not run again in 2012.

It will be blue again by the time the 2012 Presidential election comes around.

SternSkipper -> RE: So, Who will end up running against Obama? (5/13/2011 3:53:08 PM)

Now THAT'S something that would make me watch the GOP convention ... a stage full of young republicans with bottle rockets being launched out of their asses as he gives his acceptance speech!

Obama has a few problems of his own to deal with in the next 18 months. Just to name two. a 9% unemployment that isn't coming down anytime soon and inflation.

You do know that inflation has averaged far less during Obama's time in office than during the Bush administration?

Never mind.  Stupid question.  You get your "facts" from conservative talking heads who promote their agenda by being deceptive.

SternSkipper -> RE: So, Who will end up running against Obama? (5/13/2011 3:58:50 PM)

Sounds remarkably like two or three responses I have gotten to my does she go on in this email saying she is willing to relocate for the right master?

Huh?

Is that some sort of record?

A few months?

We'll just overlook John Ensign's sudden retirement.

Boy did it ever!
One of my Navy buddies who lives there and was a Democrat all his life is now a staunch conservative!

He is?

I would have thought you would have influenced him to be a staunch Independent like you.

Or at least a staunch conservative Republican Independent.

Maybe you guys can start your own party.

They have one, sort of: it's funded by an Australian and mentions tea a lot...
