Brain -> RE: So, Who will end up running against Obama? (5/13/2011 6:40:10 PM)

There was an op-ed in the New York Times about Jon Kyl Sen. from Arizona as being a respectable and good candidate having a lot of experience but would he be interested in running. I tried to find the op-ed and post it but unfortunately I can't. It was in yesterday's New York Times.

So far you have Newt(Hold on, I am too busy with my mistress) Gingrich, you have Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty, no dout soon Mitt(Health Care) Romney, Possibly Donald(I need a new hairpiece) Trump, Herman(anyone want a pizza)Cain. Could be Mitch(If my wife lets me and doesn't run off to marry another guy) Daniels, and there are a few I am unaware of. (Add any you can think of!)
Who takes the nomination?
Any Darkhorse out there?
Can there be a balance between the Teapartiers, the Evangelicals, the tradional Republican party powers?

The guy is a liar
Hes the one that said planned parenthood was 90% abortions, when it only has 3%
then, after everyone called him on it he said it wasnt meant to be a factual statement, and then went on to have it expunged from the congressional record.
Really Brain ?

Any election fraud in Wisconsin will soon end. The republicans will finally pass a voter ID bill. GO SCOTT WALKER.

Ah so its ok that the GOP perpetrated the fraud because they will fix it... interesting.

Now, back to the election fraud. Im speaking of the recall signatures. Seems at least 200 people have signed sworn statements that they were lied too when signing the recall sheets.

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has filed a challenge with nearly 200 sworn statements saying out-of-state petition circulators misled voters, falsified signatures of even one Democratic lawmaker's dead father, or even misrepresented their own addresses. Democrats said they believe that could invalidate thousands of signatures collected.
"Let me be clear, this is not a case of one or two bad actors or a small series of isolated events," Miller said. "We have discovered a systemic pattern of misconduct, deceit and misinformation by these out-of-state circulators."
Democrats claim that circulators told some people they were signing to support Democrats or schools.

That was really funny that you just said that Willbeur.

The majority of your posts, and your sock puppet posts, consist of such brief statements as "you are wrong", "no it's not", and "you don't know what you are talking about", along with this latest version.

All with a notable absence of any elaboration.

I may not always agree with Tazzy but she takes the time to substantiate what she says.

You, on the other hand, just blurt out bullshit that almost always gets proven wrong.

You post statistics with no citations, you post quotes with no citations, then when you are called on your lies you disappear from the thread.

Only to show up on another thread with new lies.

If I had to guess now the ticket would be Romney and Christie, second guess Pawlenty and Christie if Romney cant articulate the very simple difference between Romneycare and Obamacare. He attempted to yesterday, but even Fox didnt understand what he was saying, so he needs to work on it.

Christie has ruled out a Presidential bid.  You feel he'd still take a VP slot?

You do realize that it was his white half that won the election the first time... right?

How's that for a comment almost as ridiculous as yours. Surely you're voting for more than his flesh tone.

There's a disturbingly racist undercurrent to a lot of the talk about the Kenyan, particularly from those rightists who appear to think that he's Huey Newton rather than George Cosby...

And that bit of ridiculousness is all anyone knows about Kyl.  He's got nuthin' to run on.

Which of the Republican nominees got OBL recently? Which of them has done things in favor of most Americans and NOT just as 'gravy' ontop of giving freebies to the extreme wealthy? Which shows they can base their view points on reality, facts, and evidence of the known world (i.e. Science, Education, Politics)? Which of them can take full responibility for their words and actions?

Well since the stakeout was four years in the making it doesn't look like the killing of OBL was to either or was to both parties credit, it looks like your just buying the latest headlines.

As for doing things in favor of "most Americans" as you put it and not handing freebies to the wealthy; again neither party holds the moral high ground.

Then there is the concept of reality, facts and evidence that you are discussing; I suspect we should follow Richard Pryors lead and vote "None of the Above" on all counts..

I believe you are addressing my point; the race discussion itself is ridiculous, for whatever reason unless you can demonstrate where this particular topic is actually relevent to some particular subject matter.

Moonhead -> RE: So, Who will end up running against Obama? (5/15/2011 6:05:57 AM)

Yep. That's unlikely to shut anybody up about it on past form though, sadly. I suppose if you want to make a case that he isn't qualified to be President, bullshit about him only getting into politics because of affirmative action or birther drivel about Kenya is about all that can be found as discussing his actual performance in office doesn't turn up much besides a strong policy resemblance to the last guy, which the Bush apologists don't like to dwell on, for some reason.

All the health care issues aside, Romney seems more electable, than the rest.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the Mormon issue.

Just like JFK had the Catholic issue, you are going to find a large segment of the population that opposes him just for his religious beliefs.

I never knew Wisconsin was a hotbed of election fraud.

Have any examples?

Never mind, I keep asking stupid questions.

You never provide any thing to document what you say.

Romney hasn't got a chance in hell, especially since he keeps defending Romneycare.

I'd love to see a Daniels/Christie ticket, but not a Christie/Daniels admin... IMO Christie is too much of a RINO, and compromises way too much on certain issues to take the top spot.

Yeah.............well..............that pretty much sums it up.

You are deluding yourself into thinking there is any chance of a Republican victory by the way you have divided your own party.

All this celebration over the House win ignores the fact that those elected are opposed to the mainstream Republicans.

I hear Huckleberry has taken himself out of the running
