In my case, I think it's a combination of high congenital myopia and my natural personality. Children born with severe myopia have to intake visual clues differently than normal-sighted children ... in essence, the myope brain rewires itself to make up for the deficiency (this usually happens between 6 - 9 months of age if memory serves.) I am, literally, out of focus so following behind someone who can see where they are going seems the logical course of action to take. That's how my head would explain it.
Other body parts would, no doubt, explain it differently. [;)] In any event, I am the sum of my parts, not any piece of one and when you put me all together you get slave. Not really his slave or a slave.. just slave. I cave to power (more like crumple, so the whole 'knees' thing works for me). I can't, honestly, say it's his power because I've caved to power before. It's sort of druggy in a way which given my background is not surprising, but power is a turn-on and I have some righteous passion for it and being out of focus couldn't always tell when it was good for me until I found someone who actually was.

I'm not really all that submissive. I obey because it's the only way I can be assured I'm still on the right path and since he's the one leading, I"m trusting he'll be the one to kick the rocks and such out of the way so I don't trip much. We use his eyes because they work better than my own.
