You say "that post is stupid", or "I think that is a stupid opinion". If you know the person personally you can say "That was a stupid move" or "I know you aren't that stupid

It is best to separate the people from the action, opinion, words....

When I read things like the following:

Do I think you meant to denigrate anyone? No. Should you change the way you write about how you feel about slavery? No.

To me, and this is only in my heart and in my mind, I cannot imagine ever calling myself a slave or thinking of myself as owned. It just doesn't make me hot. It leaves me cold. Maybe I haven't met the right man... but I don't think that is the issue... I think I just get all sappy with different adjectives to define what I am feeling about a relationship... I really loved being a Daddy's girl. It is my thang, It made my heart go pitter pat.

Given she hasn't responded, if you're open to shedding some light on it, I'd of course be open to the explanation? 

To recap:

1.  I asked what the "down-side" would be if one were to feel themselves a slave instead of a sub?

This implies if one were a "sub" and not a "slave", then she would have a "say" in being "cheated on" and "verbally abused" -- but again (her words), "...she has no say because she's a slave".

So by all means, if you can show what's been misunderstood, I'm all ears.  I'm not being snarky, I'm genuinely asking how the above could be misunderstood?  My feeling is, these sorts of things can happen to a sub... a slave... a vanilla person, or Captain-friggin'-Crunch.  It doesn't matter if one is a "slave" or not... abuse can come from anywhere and from anyone.  How one self-identifies matters not.

Yes, I understand what you've stated, but please try to understand what I've stated... again, a recap:

Thus, the poster's reply implies if the girl had identified as a "sub" instead of a "slave", that this scenario wouldn't have taken place.  Remember, this was a reply to my question of what the "down-side" would be for one who identifies as a slave.  THE REPLAY IS FLAT OUT WRONG.  This same scenario can happen to anyone -- so it's not a "down-side" to being a "slave"... it's the outcome of being with an idiot.  As if said idiot couldn't "claim she has no say because she's a sub", as this frequently happens to subs as well -- and is not something exclusive to "slaves". 

Thus, the reply does not present a "down-side" to identifying as a slave vs a sub... it presents a scenario that can apply to anyone -- but falsely paints only the "slave" as the one who would fall subject to such stupid "claims".
