I have lots of deal breakers...

abusers, smokers, druggers, alcoholics, people with anger management issues, rude people, born again christians, Zealot Muslims, racists, sports fanatics (except Keith Olbermann), and I could think up more if you gave me a while

Are jaw breakers a deal breaker? What's up with people who want to pull a saliva soaked piece of candy out of their mouth so they can suck on it again later?

The term is being overused and mis-used. A "deal breaker" is actually something that happens after you have made an agreement. Height cannot be a deal breaker because if you don't like someone's height you know it before you get in a relationship with them. On the other hand, drug use, physical abuse and singing barry manilow songs in the shower could be deal breakers because you may not know the other party was into such deviant behavior beforehand.

Well there go all my fantasies about you.

Most of those are just common sense, I just notice a lot of these are about physical characteristics, I guess I'm just not that picky.

What if it's like, stuck in your head, and you can't get rid of it? Re: singing Barry Manilow in the shower.

Damn you!!! Now I have "I Can't Smile Without You" stuck in MY head. This is WHY Barry Manilow songs are deal breakers. He writes the most annoyingly addictive songs in the world.

LOL I like Barry, I admit it.

It wasn't a deal breaker by the Mister but he did laugh a bit and said I was really brave to admit that...
