More pressing matters, though, are LadyPact's big balls. Now this is an interesting development.

Status: offline 		If someone acts in a behindular manner, it doesn't matter how long they've been here, they get called on it. Now some people nicer about it than others, some can be quite blunt. There are quite a few who've stuck around, been assholes most of the time and spend a lot of time on [awaiting approval]. If you intend to leave, there's no need to post about it and give *us* 2 days to change what you assume to be our bad behavior. It's on you to act like an adult even if it is the internet. So instead of posting on and on, why not just leave quietly without fanfare?

I've made a number of friends on the boards. I cherish them and we chat on a regular basis. Others, I know from here and can have a back and forth while still respecting their opinions even if they don't match mine. Wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same? I don't get nose all out of joint or make personal attacks on people. At least most of the time I try not to. Sometimes it's tough, but I also don't like receiving golden tickets. I've gotten along with a large percentage of the users on these boards since I joined over 2 yrs ago under a different user name.

Uhhh...by 'dark' I assume you meant me. How did you make it to your 40s without figuring out it's your job and only yours to make yourself happy? Practical meaning: CM is what it is; you said it yourself, it's a public site. It works just fine for the vast majority of folks who choose to join in. It isn't going to change to accommodate your behavior so ffs take responsibility for your own comfort level. If you will be happier leaving, then by all means make yourself happy. Am I personally OK with you leaving because you're unhappy here? Absolutely OK, make haste and Godspeed! No one's forcing you stay. Go in peace. Find somewhere you feel more at home. Good luck. guess what? Everyone of us...every freakin' one without exception was "the new guy" at some point.

If we encountered the "bully mentality" of which you speak, i doubt we would still be here. Not only that...but there are a band of dedicated Mods here who do an amazing job of preventing that sort of thing.

So...the way i see it, being a rude asshole has EVERYTHING to do with it.

As Stephen Colbert likes to say when women refer to their balls...we don't call them balls...

We call them Thatchers! 

As in "Check out the Thatchers on that chick!"  or "Nice set of Thatchers you've got there Lady P!"
