I do too, Lilly, but only a little bit. It isn't as if this type of thing hasn't happened many times before. It's much akin to peoples reaction to the Y2K thing. The difference being.. if they are believers.. they should have read the Bible. It would have told them that no one knows the day or hour of that particular event, as well as providing warnings of false prophets.

{For the non-believers, don't fly up my nose. I'm not dismissing your belief, simply pointing out the obvious for the believers.}

see exactly -- that's what i don't get.
they believe so much in this bizarre biblical math while totally disregarding that the bible says the freaking angels dont even know what day the world will end. =p if they dont know, how do you expect that you, a simple little human being who barely understands anything about the universe, will know? =p

We aren't talking about normal people. We're talking about .. out there in left field, lunatic fringe, drink the kool-aid people. What normal person would randomly begin doing math equations based on a set numbers they selected/assigned value to.. then built an end game event of biblical proportions to whip a small portion of the population into an apocalyptic frenzy? Moreover, briefly consider the people who bought into it.
{if a person is going to have a belief, ANY belief, they should be strong enough in their conviction to know what they know or believe what they belive.. so as not to be swayed by the random insane opinion of others.}
