Simple. I say there was never such a law, it would have violated numerous federal laws. You claim it exists so post the statute with identifying info so I can read the statute indpendently.

[§338-17.8] Certificates for children born out of State.
(a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.

Another Obot lie debunked by verifyable fact.

Lets say that you found out Reagan was born while his parents were out touring Great Brittan, and lets suppose he did not even know this was the case because his parents never even told him. So he goes through life thinking he was born here, runs for president, and gets elected.

So in this thought experiment, he is raised by Americans, and he goes through school here, never knowing anything else... would you try to get him out of office based upon this information? And if you wouldn't, why are you so hellbent on getting Obama out..

McCain wasn't born here... is that important to you?

You all wanted my former govenator to run for president, wanted to change the constitution to allow it... he wasn't even raised here! I think the spirit of the law was to prevent those with royal titles from taking over through public office, those who were not raised in the United States could come here, run for office, and then serve other national interests... you, out of your racism, are holding on to this notion that Obama is not "us"... to you he is an "other". Well, he ain't an "other" to me

You are aware that in the issue of the cert, the ACTUAL place of birth is put on it. The facts of the birth itself are not changed nor is Hawaii put on an issued cert as the place of birth under that law. In any event, it's moot. Obama was born in Hawaii and no where else despite how much it bothers you that he was MADE IN THE USA.
