Brain -> Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 12:56:27 AM)

It’s the least birthers can do for him (raise money for the election and help him get re-elected) after all the crap he had to put up with because of them.

Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap

The bid to raise money off of birtherism also needles author Jerome Corsi, whose book “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” was released Tuesday, a top seller on Amazon.com despite the fact the White House released a copy of the long-form birth certificate three weeks ago.

“There's really no way to make this stuff completely go away,” the Wednesday email reads. “The only thing we can do is laugh at it -- and make sure as many other people as possible are in on the joke.”

Yea I kinda figured they were strapped for cash when I started getting an email a day begging for money. I have to wonder what this means for my inbox when we actually get close to the election. [8|]

I love it, a PR genius, I mean not only will it raise money, it will also remind people of the stupidity of the birthers and their political afflictions...

When Obama was elected I wasn't sure, but the longer he's in office the more I like him, of course after Bush it's really easy to look smart but he's actually really making changes. Of course you have the bunch of tea bagging racists, but I don't think anybody takes them seriously, oops I forgot, his skin tone had nothing to do with the quest for the birth certificate - every white candidate was asked to publish his...

Them crazy capitalists, what will they think of next, hah?

Have we seen your birth certificate? With a name like mnottertail, can you actually show solid evidence that you are human? You could be ET!

mnottertail -> RE: Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 8:26:26 AM)

lol, I live in Otter Tail county, live by Ottertail lake, which is supplied on the Ottertail city side by the Ottertail river.... right here in Minnesota (MN).

My penis is an average size, and most everything else about me is unremarkable. As is my nic.

I am not going to do that birth certificate thingie anymore, it is as over as Christmas.

LOL.

Viola!!!! Un Homme!!!!

In other words

Obama can sure use the divisiveness

mnottertail -> RE: Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 8:32:58 AM)

Well, sure why not, the birther cretins relentlessly tried to make use of it and failed miserably and astoundingly, maybe he can pick it up and run with it, do some more good out there.

It isn't like Obama is soliciting donations with a 'Obama is trying to take your guns away' from the NRA rank and file as the republicans have for lo these many years, exchanging names only as each dem candidate comes of age, and stealing the republicans schtick.

juliaoceania -> RE: Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 8:34:00 AM)

I got a kick out of this when I saw these headlines yesterday...

Making lemonade out of lemons....

Those Birthers are so dumb.

I do not think Obama is more strapped for cash than anyone else who is running for public office. I think you miss the perfection of this... The Obama team makes fun of the opposition, promotes his campaign, and makes money off of it all at the same time. It is genius, actually

You mean it's alright if a bunch of racists who are afraid to say "We don't like him because he's half black" cock up some shit that he's not born in the US, that he's a Muslim, a terrorist supporter (hence during his term Bin Laden is no more) and it's all fine and dandy, but if he uses exposes their lies for his campaign, it's somehow not alright? Bit of a weird logic and not as sane as I would have expected from somebody with your nick.

But then Bad Religion had a song called Sanity, if I remember the lyrics right it went

Confusion is a fundamental state of mind.
It doesn't really matter what I'm figuring out.
I'm guaranteed to wind up in a state of doubt
And sanity is a full-time job
In a world that is always changing,
And sanity is a state of mind
That you believe in, sanity.

Pretty good song actually if you like melodic punk rock...

Wouldn't it be ironic if those shirts were made in China?

Do I have to google a map for you or do you think you can do that yourself? Isn't it a bit un-American to not know that Hawaii is actually part of the US of A? Or would that simply be uneducated?

FYI: Four months before anyone asked Obama to publish his a District Court and a U.S. Senate committee demanded to see a "Certified Copy" of a white candidate named John McCain actual factual printed birth certificate...which he promptly provided them...ooops I forgot, expecting a black candidate to do likewise is racist of me...

BamaD -> RE: Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 8:54:02 AM)

No not every white candidate was asked to provide birth certificates just John  McCain.    And he didn't grow up in Indonesia.

Considering that Bush made sure that the US are almost a Colony of China, that would be cruel...

But I'm with our Otter, having them made in Kenia would be just such a great punch!

mnottertail -> RE: Obama campaign courts cash off of birth certificate flap (5/20/2011 8:56:16 AM)

And we have your word on that do we?  OIC.............cleared up for us then.  It really makes a difference.  Good catch.  Thanks for the heads up.

You've been so wrong on everything else, I accept your acute knowledge on this without any credible citations.
