I can't speak for everyone, but you're definition of fun, OP, and Mine just aren't the same thing. Why do I want to sit at home and watch a screen? Better yet, why would I want to sit at home and watch a screen basically providing entertainment for somebody that I don't even know? Instead, I could be out doing things that I enjoy to people who are willing to play in person. In weighing those two options, either bored to tears or actually having fun........... I think I'll choose to have fun.

I know I am repeating myself, but I can't get past the notion of an old-fashioned mistress who likes to cam. "Back in the day, the real Old Guard fem dommes would cam for free out of pure enjoyment. Catering to a person you don't know and for whom you have no emotional investment in, for many people, feels like (or is) work and that's why fees are charged. Also, for a great many, hooking up with a random stranger on a web camera holds no interest. Note the phrase "random stranger". I have friends I speak with through instant messaging programs. Note the word "friends". There is nothing random about the people I choose to speak with over Internet technologies and it is always the case these people have taken the time to get to know me and we share mutual interests and friendship. Though I'm not a dominant woman, I have yet to meet a domme who feels differently on this matter.
