Status: offline 		I am going to be getting a new sub in a few days and he likes to be humiliated.  I'm trying to think of things to do to him to humiliate him and need some ideas.  I was thinking of making him walk around 1 of the local malls wearing a buttplug, his hands cuffed, and a ballgag in his mouth.  He would be required to walk both levels completly 1 or 2 times.  Anyone else got ideas?

This is controversial but myself, I really do not want to see your friend walking in such a manner in the mall in my town. Many people are going to be exposed to this and allegedly the public consents by leaving their homes but i don't agree with this. If you have a need to display him as such why not do it in a more suitable venue?

Humiliation is a very large umbrella and i would need to know the person a little before i could offer good humil ideas because what i think is kick ass he may not. Like your example ... i wouldnt find that humiliating so much as i would think that you are not someone that i would want to be seen with. Just my perspective

Status: offline 		OP, get some common sense and keep your humiliation fun between the two of you or in front of other CONSENTING adults, not in public around minors and adults that just really don't want to see someone's hairy ass with a plug in it.

This. Using members of the public to humiliate your submissive is nonconsensual. They did not consent to being a part of your play, nor of doing your dirty work for you. You should be able to humiliate your submissive by your speech and behaviour, or by getting him to do / admit things that he finds shameful. It is one thing to make him wear things under his clothes, for his own personal shame. But what you suggest is exhibitionism and totally nonconsensual.

Status: offline 		If you really want to humiliate him in public without running into the consent/non-consent of the public issue. Go to the food court with him and "accidentally" spill your drink on his crotch.

For the rest of your shopping trip everybody will be looking at him and wondering.

the buttplug will be invisible... i hope
and put the ball in the mouth by all means, but not the leather strap around the head please... allthough i believe many here think dog-collars and leads are acceptable... so maybe a ballgag strap is only a tiny step further...
cuffs should be conceiled under clothing i think...
allthough my own brother walks around with a handcuff bracelet on permanent display...

i suppose the main thing is not to get turned on in public because that would be unethical

i quite like humiliation, but if someone told me to do that, i'd tell them where to go. 
Giving your sub a task that would quite possibly end up with them in jail is not responsibe, and, as others have said - what about the public, particularly children?!

As for any other ideas ... it's really difficult to know without knowing the sub.  For example, verbal humiliation - this could be a huge turn on for some, but a huge turn off, or even damaging, for others.  It really depends on what your sub finds humiliating.

Just a word of advice: if you're going to keep/train a sub or slave for a long period of time, it is best to avoid those activities that have a significant probability of putting you or them in jail or the ER.  If you want him handcuffed, buttplugged and gagged in public, take him to a bondage club where people might actually appreciate what you're doing for chrissakes.

I'm pretty much with the comments (at least those that are visible) of the other posters, too.  I'm pretty much in the crowd that says My right to be kinky ends where the rights of other people begin.  No matter how much "fun" I want to have, those other people have a right not to be infringed upon.

The good key to humiliation of this type is to walk the line of the person being humiliated *thinking* that the world knows what is going on when the world really doesn't have a clue.  Anything else is amateurish at best and forcing the kink on others at worst.  Time to come up from the minor leagues OP and step up your game.

I have an idea.  Why not have him log onto a BDSM website and ask others to think of humiliation ideas.

Not only will he prove to everyone else that he has absolutely no knowledge of, or experience in, WIITWD, but it will also prove to everyone that he has no imagination at all.  His utter stupidity will be on display for all to see.  What could possibly be more humiliating than that?

Status: offline 		Okay, all jokes aside.  I'm serious this time.

To me, the best ideas for scenes/play come from getting to know your partner.  What is humiliating to one person won't be humiliating to another.  So coming on-line and asking for humiliation ideas really isn't likely to bear much fruit. 

A much better approach is to truly get to know your sub/slave.  Peel back more layers of the onion.  The more new insights that you discover, the better your scenes will be.  This applies to humiliation and all other aspects of a typical D/s relationship.  You can't use a cookie cutter approach to domination (well, you can, but you probably won't be very effective).  Each sub is different.  So take the time to learn each sub individually.  You'll be a much better Dom if you do.
