No, it wasn't the only issue here, it was the destruction or near destruction of Israel.
OK, so maybe the book points it out, you've returned to that theme, but you haven't pointed out where the book said that and what premises locked in this absurd conclusion, and who the fuck these guys are that know better than anyone else. Not everything written by Nostradamus has the effect of celestial law.

Not a destruction.
Nevertheless, the facts are:
The borders have been successfully defended several times.
Israel is not destroyed.
Netanyahu would be a fool to grape, and so he raises an illogical and unsupportable cavil.
They are going to have to deal one way or another with this, and since there is some other rethinking about whats what in the area, they best do it now.
So, I have not said until this point, right here right now, a word about the airlift (and there was a whole lotta other stuff we did, to compensate for the massive USSR interference and supply)
But yeah, they needed it. It was a good fuckin deal. 23K tons of weaponry to offset the 15k tons that the USSR provided to Egypt et al.
And we supplied some 33K tons more in planes and stuff to offset their losses.
But those were the halcyon days of yore, as I said where we were both feet in interfering in the middle east by giving them all weapons to win their hearts and the USSR giving others weapons to win their hearts.
You may have heard about that. The arms race.
Those conditions are not extant.
So, again, I don't buy yours or bennies assumptions, since I don't see clear premises, and I don't therefore buy yours or bibbis deal.
Land swaps and historical borders are not the real earth changing issue.
Positioning is positioning.
