So, cherry tomatoes, bananas and apples, cucumbers are all 0 points... I upped my water intake, and ate more of those foods to keep full. More fruit and veggies than I've had in one day in awhile. I had a healthy filling dinner. I ate heavy during the day and light at dinner. I seriously had to rethink the foods I was eating to get the most of my points. Definite serious change. I got to eat a lot more food than I usually did though.

Ditto.  I actually used a measuring cup yesterday!
At this time I'm using what I have at home but on Sat. I'll be shopping for recipes found on WW website.

Thanks for the congrats Keri!  Did it work for you?  You said that you were hungry all of the time too, do you work out alot?

Did you go to the activity tracker? That seems odd.

ETA: My point value doesn't change. I have a specific category for activity points. When I want to add to my point value I have physically go in an swap them out.

I've done both the meetings and the online. I liked the online because I didn't have to go to a meeting, but at the same time there was less accountability sometimes. Both of them worked for a few months, until stress and working 14 hour days kicked in. When I first did the meetings I was working out quite a bit and was still always hungry even with using the activity points. I'm thinking I might try the online again, just as a starting point to help me get back on track.

Well, I started a health improvement plan last week. I'm doing the Slimming World diet (cos it's easy and I have all the books) and I've been going to a gym 3 or 4 times a week.

I absolutely love the gym - I'm getting fitter and stronger much quicker than I thought I would. Soon I'll start running again - yay!

But although I seem to be changing shape (which is not a bad thing!) my weight is not changing. I'm sticking to the diet like glue and doing everything right - I have a food diary that I keep every day and I'm scrupulously honest in it.

Has anyone else ever had that problem?

You could be losing inches vs pounds, myotherself.  If you're doing alot of strength training with weights that's a definite possiblity.

If you're focusing on cardio, your diet could need a boost.  Instead of 3 meals a day, do the 4-6 small meals daily.  If you're not eating enough your body goes into starvation mode and will start feeding off its muscles during a workout.

I'm doing a mix of both. I'm doing between 30 and 45 minutes a day training with weights, 5 days a week. I'm also doing between 30 and 50 minutes a day on cardio (cross trainer, bike, treadmill) 5 days a week.

I quite like the way things are reshaping, but I'll try changing my meal arrangements to have more frequent, smaller meals

Again, you could be losing inches which is just as good as losing pounds.  Do your clothes fit looser?

I work out 5-6 days a week and the scale never moved to the left which totally pissed me off and my clothes weren't any looser so I joined Weight Watcher's last week because I know that it's not my activitiy level so it has to be my diet.
I lost 3 lbs since I started last week.

I've lost an inch from my waist, hips and chest so I guess things are tightening up and moving up instead of down, lol

I'm doing the Slimming World diet cos it worked so well for me last time. I usually lose between 3 and 5lbs in my first week and then 1 to 2lbs a week after that. I guess I'll just persist and see how it goes

Tonight I'll be doing a "Step & Sculpt" class.
At home I've been doing 50 situps w/a 15lb weight.

My girl made a weeks worth of "Strawberry Oatmeal" with steel cut oats.  This was a recipe I printed from the WW website. I had my 1st serving this AM & it was GREAT!
I've downloaded several other recipes and will have her cooking next weekend

I lost my first two pounds on my first week of WW's. I admit I haven't really been working out other than taking the dogs for two mile walks so this is good. I really need to get moving more! School is kicking my ass well that and being sick this week. I wanna sleeeeeeep. My husband loves this. He says we are eating so healthy and he has a cooked meal every night. It has been nice. I like the balsalmic glazed carrots potty. They are yummy. The H man said best carrots he ever had.. Plus, 1 point woot!

I need a girl lol. One of my biggest issues in following my plan is preparation of food. I end up either skipping meals or eating on the fly because I don't bring my food. I really need to focus on planning and preparing on day a weekend.

yesterday i bought new jeans in preparation for the upcoming winter.
they were in my OLD size from 3 years ago, not my new, bigger size. ^_^

i weighed myself at a friend's house and found that i'd officially lost the 30 lbs i gained after M died, but i didn't believe it until i got the jeans and they fit. =p
hooray!
now to keep up with it and maybe lose more.

Congratulations Impy & Lilly!!!  (Welcome back to Lilly, missed your posts)

Last night's Step & Sculpt was REALLY GOOD!!!!  I had some almonds/raisins about 2 hrs prior to class & had incredible energy!

Tonight I'm going to make the veggie nachos before I do the power walk w/the dog.

Angel, having someone measure out my daily intake and create the meals is indeed fantastic!  I highly recommend it

VP, i may have to give doming domestically a try lol. I am now officially part of the gym again, so exercise will need to become a priority and i will need to start planning my meals and taking them to work because i want to try and see if it will cost me less than 50 bucks a week to bring lunches and snacks, because that is what i pay now pretty much for lunch on the town.   I have done a lot better with eating at home for dinner, so we will see.  I want this to become a hobby and habit for me, something i really enjoy and look forward to doing.

I have a challenge going with some friends at work for whomever loses the most percentage wise from last Tuesday until TBL's season finale which is usually right before Christmas.   I am hoping to lose at least 20%, if not a little more.  If i do, my doc will be very happy with me come February.
