ORIGINAL: DeviantMan Funny enough, when I was still in my early teens (11-12), my father was obsessed with a book that had the exact same theme. I remember being so curious about what he kept reading almost 24/7, that I started reading it too. The book was called "1999: The End" And it was a scientific-appearing presentation on how comet gravitational effects, that would start in the early 90s, would cause a massive instability, on the Earth's crust, that would destroy all life on Earth by 1999. It had similar planetary allignments, and seismic activity profiles connected to them. It was pretty serious looking, with maps, and charts, and some math to back this all up... However, we are living in the year 2011, 13 years past the upcoming DoomsDay. There would be no way on Earth, or any other planet, that someone would have their hands on that level of information, knowing the potential chaos it would provide before the inevitable happens, and let it leak... the damage from the leak iotself would be worse than the actual damage from the event. Everyone laughed at Cassandra and Noah, too (Said with HUGE wink and a nod). I think the story is interesting one way or another.
