I get mail from Dommes on a sort of reg basis where they tell me they want to get in touch with their sub side and want me to Domme them, or turn them into a sub. I always say to go after somebody with some sort of experience, cause I got no clue what to do.

They don't take no for an answer, they tell me "something" about me makes them sure I am the one meant to break them and turn them into a sub. Its flattering for sure everyone wants to be special, but BS. My profile basically says "Hi I'm bossy and know jack", so other than a good ass, what's the "something"?

So what's the deal? I got no sub side, I got no desire to be bossed around or used. Do many Dommes have a sub side? Are lots of Dommes really switches (I learned bout switches lurking here)? Or is it just men pretending?

Quite a good chance of that, Em. Ask for a phone number to voice verify...if you care. I've caught out so many this way it's just...lame. And very obvious. As though we won't figure it out? Today I got a msg. from a 'domme' who asked if I would train 'her' husband. Any domme worth her salt would train her own damn husband. These sad sacks don't even try to make it appear authentic. Effing pathetic.

Hell, I'd submit to you from time to time, as long as I got to eat your ass out. This just isn't very complicated. People see your photo and they want themselves a piece.

Red - get out a town.

You are working that HNG thing a lil too much baby.

Emily -
We have had a talk or two about how dominant types are also submissive - submissive to work/boss/environment, submissive to the relationship, submissive to their desire to please their partners.

That, however, doesn't seem to be the crux of your question. There are a whole lot of liars on the internet. People often talk about folks becoming "jaded." I think it's more that we become "aware" or perhaps "less gullible"?

There is also the whole loss of inflection and such on the web. (Red's "HNG" title is an example - not of lying, but of sarcasm, poking fun, etc. which can easily get lost without the inflection.)

best,
sunshine

FR: I get the same emails but they come from doms, and they all tell me I should be flattered and how masterful they are and now they wanna submit to me - I figured most of them are just subs who decided to make themselves dom profiles because they think with that trick they're getting anywhere, but in general I don't waste too much time, if I feel inclined to do so, I send them a nice "Thank you, not interested"

This has been my experience. There are several that I get emails from on a semi regular basis. The funny part is that they've used the same photos for years, and are always deleting and creating new profiles. Never quite certain if they are dominant or submissive. But even if dominant.....they would love to explore their 'newly submissive side' with me.

I wonder, at what point does it stop being new....

For someone with no "sub side", that's one highly spankable butt you're putting front n centre as your screen pic.

True, I guess it can't be what others are seeing if they want to submit to you. I'm thinkin' they're just blind and stupid....

Ignore them.

Focus.

Gawd. Even now, I'm finding out new stuff about the weird things femdoms get in their inboxes.

This one utterly baffles me. Nope, I can't figure it, except as some sort of BS from someone radically misrepresenting herself, or himself.

Given a couple of the replies thus far...that's pretty much all that's needed.

Best thing to do is just block/delete and get on with the business of living. The more thought you give to nonsense like this, the less you have to give to your own stuff. Like others have said...get out and connect with your local crowd (bearing in mind that you'll still be "fresh meat" which brings its on set of issues), get to some demos and do lots of reading.

Good luck and enjoy.

Yeah. Men claiming to be women/Doms/subs/ whatever it takes to try to get into the sack with a woman.  Makes the whole gender look bad.

Nope. I'd heard of Doms wanting to be dominated by femdoms, but this was a new one on me.

If I had a penny for everytime this has happened to me....I'd have a whole lot of pennies.

Sunny, I haven't even viewed her profile. I am sure she knows I can't be that enslaved to her back side, if I'm not even willing to take the time to view the photo full size.

A great many bisexual and les profiles on the site are operated by men. Hell, even I have a femdom profile, though I created it for a particular reason (which I won't discuss) and asked site management if it would be ok before I made the account. That said, it is worse elsewhere. Someone I knew from Alt was convinced she was the only woman operating a bi female profile on the entire site.

Another way to look at it is: if someone creates a profile that communicates, "i have nothing to offer except hot meat," it is likely to receive a certain kind of attention. My suggestion: make the main photo a secondary photo, and see what happens. MissAsylum's profile is quite intelligent, and she still gets the same kind of traffic, so it is not going to stop but the relative concentration of dumbness might change.

Thanks everyone. Its good knowing its not just me.  To BonesFromAsh: I'd get with the local crowd but where I live that means down at the tavern or the tea shop. Its a REALLY small town in the middle of nowhere.Manitoba is mostly empty, and my corner of it more than most.

Red, you know oddly enough all the females who usually approach me and claim to be bi and lesbian (one reason why I put my profile to straight, though that's not 100% true) usually slip up after a few emails by asking about my underwear or other stuff women just wouldn't ask for... Funny that...

Well, you see a female will know that they are most likely Lise Charmel, without having looked at a bigger photo, that's my guess and I got a pair or two like that, only with different coloured embroidery

Still, I could be a male CD with a lot of knowledge about female lingerie (I hope that gave Peon a good scare)
