She has her dream job now. She gets to make speeches friendly crowds, push her books and reality shoe, and get paid huge money for ticking off talking points. No journalists.

She'd rather do that than be responsive to voters any day.

When she was brand new on the national stage, the people who liked her then are not the people who like her now.  The people who like her now are the established party hacks looking at her at being the one frontrunner with the most recent media and TV-time under her belt, far ahead of Pawlenty and Gingrich.  The people who liked her back when she was a fresh face and politically 'inocent' have had enough of the temper tantrums and the "look at me" staged pageantry (like the bus tour).

I disagree. Those who like her now and those who liked her then would be closer to opposite of what you stated though it would be difficult to really establish anything like that exactly.

And what temper tantrums are you talking about ??

You mean like Obama quitting the Senate so he could be POTUS?

Not really, no. The Kenyan got offered a better job in which he could argue he was serving the electorate better. Barbie appears to have quit in a tantrum because she wouldn't have a shot at that one if Sorebutt died of a coronary.

Three senators, Warren G. Harding, John F. Kennedy, and Barack Obama moved directly from the U.S. Senate to the White House.

Wasn't Clinton a senator?

Not sure what that means.

Do you have some examples.

Seems like you have it backward, with her getting ticked.

All those gotcha questions like,"what magazines do you read and what news papers do you read"?

Katie should have followed up Palin's "Um, all of them" response with the question, "Even the Industrial Worker, published by the IWW? So, Sarah, what do you think of the Wobblies platform?"

It wasnt on her teleprompter. Shouldn't be long till she's on the View, because thats about the depth of her abilities beyond morning TV. She did used to be cute though.

I'm not a fan of Palin but this looks like part of a witch hunt. I reckon its related to an abuse of the system where loads of ethics complaints were lodged against her costing several million to the state, most I think have been resolved in her favor but were a reason she left her office early and didn't seek gubby re-election.

Actually she says in emails that the reason she is leaving is to make big cash.

May. 23, 2011

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.

..."Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin.

She's got so called journalists so ticked they are complaining that there are no protestors at her rallies and Martin Bashir whining that the bus tour is a "Federal offense" because it "improperly displays the flag".

PDS is alive and well in the media, not just on this board.

She is doing Romney no favors with her attention seeking missle tour. He announced and who paid attention....VERY FEW!...and he is the frontrunner?

Accept you have no examples to support your bullshit.

We`ve seen the half-termer rant about the media.

Where are the journalists ranting about her?

Very few? I disagree. This is a primary campaign and he had plenty of attention on both MSNBC and Fox. (Of course Chris Matthews analysis was typically off the mark).

I also think it benefits Romney. She brings a ton of energy to the conservative electorate, and that energy is bound to spill over to his supporters. If I were Romney Id much rather have her there the day I'm there than the day, say, Pawlenty is there.
