The troubling thing about Palin's "warning the British" comment isn't that she was totally ignorant of why Paul Revere is considered a patriot, but that she is willing to spout whatever gibberish happens to pop into her head and pretend that it's true. The woman was making shit up on the spot, stringing barely comprehensible sentences together, and pretending like she was reciting meaningful information/facts.

Living in a fantasy world where whatever non-sensical garbage you happen to blurt out is presented as fact is not a good modus operandi for a functioning adult--let alone someone with any power.

It's just another attack Sarah Palin thread. I'm loosing count of how many there are now and I think that makes 3 PR threads specifically  It's Just my opinion that it's getting old but I won't get emotional till I start seeing the vitriolic hate filled stuff.

And I know this is the 2nd time the dead horse thing came just after your post but it's just happenstance.

That smiley is more of a visual.... so perhaps since being heard isn't working for him he switched strategies?

I think you are really attached to Palin, which is cute, in a fanboy sorta way...

Just make it easy for yourself and put "Team Sarah" in your sigline[;)]

I must admit, I really dont give a damn:)
his wishful thinking regarding how many palin threads we are sposed to have at any one time  is defintely flagellating a decomposing equine.

In the end she is her own worst enemy.

Hasn't everyone had their posts rebuffed, repudiated and spat on at one time or another ?  Not my best method but only the 2nd time doing that.  I mean why bother with text when the simple emoticon makes my point ?  And now I'm having to bother with using the keyboard again anyway......so ya got me.

For the past four years, I have worked each April through September for a company that gives historic walking tours of the Boston Freedom Trail. I have studied in great detail, among others, Paul Revere. At the risk of being immodest, I think I know as much as anyone living today can know about what happened that night.

If after Palin screwed up the story, she had come out and said, "I'm sorry, I got the story wrong and was misinformed", there would have been no need for any threads like this.

But instead she gives an subsequent interview in which she basically said, "I was right - and all the history books, and all the historians and Paul Revere himself, in his own account that he wrote of the event, were wrong".

And that stupidity and, frankly, bull-headedness merits a thread such as this.

Isn't that picture in his house?  It has been maybe 20 years since I been at Pauls.  Used to run up to Prince and get some good italian as well.........

2 differnt wars pa...The British didn't burn tha White House until the war of 1812, when they did so, Revere would have been about 85 or so...

I think I'll leave her out of the sig line and yes I admit I'm a fan. I have a team Sarah jersey, it causes liberals to go into tizzy fits and it's fun to watch.
